I will be trying to get to NC for my residency, most likely. I really liked the one day I spent there over spring break.

Mdog, you work at a hospital right? What you can do is to find a cadaver, cut off a finger and take it. Then you write to the med school saying that you'll prove your undying allegiance to them by cutting off one of your fingers, and attach that finger with it. If that doesn't move them, nothing will.

FWIW, the only California places I could see myself doing residency are Stanford and UCSD.

1) The number of warnings we give depends on a lot of things. One is the default number, but we can make exceptions.

2) There used to be a thread cap at 1,000 back in the day, but no such cap exists anymore.
