Ooh, and we don't all look the same! If you look closely, you'll see that I have a different color tassel. :laugh: But other than that, yeah, we all did the same stuff.
 
It's just high school. Give out as many valedictorians as possible. It can only help the student.

I was nowhere close to being valedictorian

*shrug* Our school district tracked our grades down to the individual percentage points (with some bonus points for honors or AP classes), so our GPA was, for example, 98.xxx, making it virtually impossible to have multiple valedictorians. It wasn't a big deal; everyone in the top 10-20 was pretty much definitely going to a good school, and it's not like we could say the person who got it didn't deserve it or whatever.

Seriously. The bad thing about my PPDs is that for 2 of them, 1 game was against a high ERA pitcher and 1 was against Jimenez or Halladay. So I had to either start them or miss out on "two" starts. :smack:

Ah well. My average flat out sucked at .240. This is FANTASY baseball, .240?! lol
 
yea my average has been at low 200s, but this week it picked up above 300, the bats were decent

my pitchers got no support this week

Ditto about the pitching. Santana - 0.00, Weaver - 1.29, Penny - 0.00, got ZERO wins between them. I picked up wins with relievers and a mediocre Zito performance :laugh:

As for the "Worst Player Move of the Week" award, I was between Latos and Duch to pick up. I thought, "hey, Duch's pretty tested and is coming off the DL, let's take him!"

...then he reinjured himself just prior to his start :smack:
 
LOL, yea i saw that.

i kinda wanted to pick up Gio Gonzalez but for some reason i decided to drop my players one by one and i was already at 6 moves
 
he has a good matchup against seattle, he would be a good pick up for anyone that really needs a pitcher/possible win

i decided to go with John Ely, I think he's going against houston. kind of a shot in the dark



i started watching Dexter. I kinda wanna live in miami now
 
So ticked. So let's make a worst moves of BBender list:

1. Dropping Bret Gardner for Austin Jackson
2. Dropping Ricky Romero for... anyone who isn't Romero
3. Picking up Duch instead of Latos

And last pitching complaint, I promise, was that this is what I woke up to this morning:

1. Duch didn't start, he reinjured himself
2. Thorton got the save (wooo!), but clenched his arm before the final strike and medical staff checked on him (wtf.).
3. Huston Street has f***** himself again and will not be returning.

That was a super ridiculous baseball bat to the knees that my staff took.
 
what gives with my pitching staff??

you take a look and it looks solid, but my era is always like 5 haha

dexter has a pretty sweet place, i def would be cool with his lifestyle, minus the killing and plus Rita.
 
wow, you used to have the sickest main 3 outfield with Holliday, Kemp, Werth. gave j dub up for lester 🙁

And yeah my outfield looks thin without Werth doesn't it? But Ellsbury is on the DL and Kubel will maybe get goin with that Grand Salami today

Lester will turn around. I'm a believer. Ellsbury is coming off the DL this week/soonish I've heard and Zambrano, even if he does go back to being a starter, well... then you'll have Zambrano as a starter, which as of late, isn't a good thing either, lol

nah, your outfield is still better than anyone else's. AJ and Kubel have a decent amount of power
 
I agree the John Lester is definitely coming around. I did think he would have taken less though

Speaking of outfield, Carlos Gonzalez has quickly become my favorite player on my team. Had no idea who he was prior to this year, and now, man crush. No homo.

lol... true... I should really look into another solid holds guy like Clippard

and I tried offering less but it always came back to Holliday / Werth for Lester.

I figure we've seen the best of Werth for the year. No way he bats at a .350 clip for much longer.... 320 maybe.
 
A deal that I wish I had made was Romero for Casey McGehee... it's probably off the table now... he kept offering it to me but I couldn't simply for the lack of options at 3B

waaaaaaay too much trouble dude. if it were just killing, that's fine, but think about all he has to do. research, pick location, drug the dude, prep the killing room, KILL, chop the body up, clean up, then go out to sea to dump it. i'd prolly get lazy and just find some random seedy looking dude and shoot him and run.
 
of course i still may be able to swing it bc he literally doesnt have a 3b lol... and what's funny is that jackson has like 6 decent 3b and prolly doesn't look at her trades

I think you're still better off. Romero will not sustain what he's doing. He's already beginning to show some decline. Or at least, I tell myself that after I dropped him, lol

yea, i've been trying to swing Troy + 3B + OF/SP for J Rolle (DL) + one of her 3B
 
Just made JJMrK an interesting trade. If anyone else wants power for avg., I'm all ears.
