Yup. This is why they REALLY should have done the Bosh deal when they had the chance. GMs always overvalue their own players.

The one thing I will say is that the Suns haven't really had a dominant, flukey good offensive night yet. They still have a few lucky games in them.

Yeah I agree, Lakers are really only 6 deep; I wouldn't want Farmar or Brown playing signifcant minutes for me in the playoffs. Not Fisher either, really.

Still, if the Lakers had Bosh instead of limping Bynum, this series might've been over.

The laptop case I got was too big, so I think I'll get an LSU one of those too.

I had one of these. Then the strap broke after a year, so I got a Columbia backpack that has lasted me for 3 years and still going.

$1500 is a pretty big budget man, you can almost get anything at that price and it'll be good.

I know And since my current, well-aged desktop has Pentium D 2.99 GHz with 1 GB RAM, most modern laptops will be a big upgrade. This tingy is slow. Old Macbooks are faster than this thing.

TMR - I've used an HP tablet for 2.5 years. It's amazing - still works pretty well. Completely changed the way I approach school. I don't even carry textbooks anymore - I just ripped their binding and scanned them all 😀

Even for med school - I am definitely using a tablet (well, maybe not for Anatomy for obvious reasons ). But I'm going to have to upgrade this tablet before med school. Unfortunately, tablet tech hasn't progressed much (well, it was good to begin with so I guess that's not a completely bad thing). I was hoping that the whole Ipad stuff would push people to make better tablets... but instead people are making more "slate" like PCs which have an awesome form factor; but use whacky operating systems which really limits their functionalities

(for example - no OneNote - which is essential for tablet PCs). That makes me sad 🙁 Was really hoping for an HP Slate with Win 7. But now it's going to use Palm OS - wtf? 👎

If you aren't really going to type a LOT of your notes, you can get away w/ the netbook + D-top combo that people talk about. You really don't need a laptop per say (they are a pain to upgrade, and in general their price points are... meh).

Now if you are like me (see earlier post) and want to use your portable comp as a replacement for all your school materials... then you want a tablet. It's like a smart phone - you aren't sure how useful it's going to be for you before you get it. But once you get it - damn you can never go back
