I'm pretty sure I'll rarely have time to play any of my games but my roommate seemed excited that I have a Wii. Maybe she'll use it more than I have since I tend to just stick to the Xbox.

Or, better yet, just get some Pinkberry. They have happy hour 1/2 off of the seasonal flavor (watermelon) from 5 - 7 everyday. 👍

I had a ps3, wii and x360. Then my x360 (finally) broke down. I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did considering the really cruddy hardware micro$oft put into it (don't get me wrong - I think microsoft's awesome; but they really screwed the pooch on the x360..)

Now I love my ps3 (I barely play the wii anymore). Even though I've got a small stack of games for the x360; not going to fork over more money to get a second one 🙁

always said it would be lakers vs magic if lebron left cleveland and i'm sticking to that now. i do think the heat will be in the finals once they group up a year from now or so

I like LA and Orlando. I think the Thunder and Heat will go deep this year.

I think the Thunder go deep just because there's really no one else who's that good in the West this year. I think my Spurs could even be the second seed for all I know. The Blazers, Mavs, and Rockets will all have their supporters too, and it doesn't really matter at the end of the day because we're all miles behind the Lakers, barring injury.

Durant is the 2nd or 3rd best player in the game today (behind LeBron and maybe Wade, a hair in front of Kobe) and it doesn't matter because Kobe's supporting cast is just better.

That's what I was thinking. I wonder if Utah will even make the playoffs this year. And yeah, the Rockets with Yao back will be a totally different team.

I'm looking for the dubs to sneak into 8th place with our new acquisition. 😀

I've started P90 about 4 times now...and I never get past the second week.... 😳

I'm thinking about starting a blog or maybe keeping a video blog on youtube to make myself stick with it, because I don't want to fail in front of a whole bunch o' people.... :laugh:

Meh @ the Rockets; I've kind of given up on Yao ever finishing a season healthy. I'm also dubious of the Blazers for the same reason (Oden and Roy both have had a ton of injuries).

The dubs are an interesting team, though I'm not convinced that Lee is that much of an upgrade from Randolph. Randolph was just a mix of injured and randomly banished to the bench by Nellie. Really, it's time for him to retire. But I could see them making the playoffs.

I'm not really sure if the Suns will make the playoffs either. Certainly, the 8th seed won't have 50 wins this time.

Too bad Dwight Howard hasn't developed a touch, and I don't think he ever will, so he probably won't ever be the offensive threat that the Magic intended for him to be. The problem is that they built their team with that expectation, and they're locked in for the long run :/

It's an upgrade. We all liked Randolph around these parts because he had tremendous potential. But that's all we ever really knew. Lee is a legitimate 20-10 guy. Plus, Randolph, Wright, and now Udoh are very similar in a lot of ways; I don't think there was ever enough room on this team for all three.

Also... SUMMER READING?? Come on I thought that was a high school thing?? Out of the many many MANY summer reading books I've ever been assigned, I've only genuinely enjoyed 2 of them: The Kite Runner and The Mists of Avalon. All of the rest were....eck.

"All students, except the 9:00 a.m. CALL Training group, should begin in R&R immediately upon arrival in Stritch. In the event that it is not possible for you to register on Monday, July 26th, you must contact Dean Adrian Jones in the Admissions Office before June 30th. Please understand if you do not appear in person for registration, or make satisfactory arrangements in advance, your place in the class may be given to a person on the Alternate List at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, July 26, 2010."

So apparently that's how you get off the WL a week before class, lol

The three is probably Dorell Wright. Or it could be Brandan Wright I suppose, if he's all the way back finally. There aren't many 3's left out there unless they want to bring back Matt Barnes, and assuming those 4 guys you named are untouchable, they don't have many trade chips left aside from a few expiring deals (I can't believe Vladimir Radmanovic is still living off his pre-snowboarding money :laugh:).

I'm also interested to see if Lee is still a 20-10 guy outside of D'Antoni's system, though I guess having Steph Curry pass you the ball is an upgrade from Chris Duhon.

What did they give you to read? I don't even remember what mine was... something stupid like 7 habits of highly successful people or something like that.

Apparently, someone in my class just didn't show up for orientation. Never did figure out what happened to them... but we were actually over-booked at that point, so I don't think we filled their spot.

After reading a summary, it seems interesting... and I take back only enjoying 2 summer reading books. After thinking about it, I could name at least 3 more that I did enjoy.... but the boring ones just take over my memory. :laugh:

Yeah I actually called the college to ask if there was summer reading and the lady immediately said "nope." Paranoia from high school summers lol

I hated the vast majority of mine... maybe I would have liked them better if I wasn't forced to read them, but for whatever reason, whenever I HAVE to do something, I immediately like it less 😛

Lucky! I actually had a summer reading book for college. I didn't read the whole thing and nothing really happened... I even found out later that they sent a copy of the book for us to read but I didn't get it until school had already started (and I'd already purchased a copy. It's ok... I returned it. 😀)

I completely agree with that...

And I never had to read Grapes of Wrath... but things like Catch-22 (which only got interesting at the end)...or Catcher in the Rye..... 😴
