And my credit and debit cards (will have to be mailed to my house then to here so that's like 2 weeks). And my car insurance card. And my health insurance cards. And cash. And my LSU ID (which I can't replace 🙁) So basically the only thing I have on me proving that I even exist is a passport. I can't drive anywhere. I can't go out anywhere. And I have like zero ways to procure any cash to get me through the weekend. Luckily I don't carry all my cash with me, but basically I'm screwed.

And I was supposed to drive to Wisconsin tomorrow to visit my favorite third year med student for the weekend, but now I can't.

That's too bad 🙁 Well it'll still be nice here for awhile so you can visit once you get everything back to normal, it's kind of torrential here this weekend anyways!

Yup, my only accident was only a few blocks away too. Then again, if you think about it, most people spend most time driving in places near where they live, so it's not too surprising.
 
In random other news: Hope to start my old desktop's surgery tomorrow to convert it to an HTPC 😀 Love the free Amazon Prime for students! 👍

I don't. But I doubt it will matter anymore because a week from now I won't be using a car anymore for at least the next 2 years. Oddly freeing.

Same here on both accounts. I'm getting anxious.. I wanna enjoy what time I have left here but I just wanna be moved in and settled since I know it is so soon. Have lived in the same room for the last 22 years so this should be interesting...

hi from the beach!🙂 here til mon, then i'll be in DC for good after that and orientation starts one week later! i think i've developed morning insomnia-i wake up at 6ish then can force myself to go back to bed but only til 730 or so.

but in other news, i went skydiving yesterday!!!😀 such an awesome experience!

One of my best friends from high school. Not a med student in any way, but it works. I think it's going to be nice living with somebody not in medicine.
