I'm looking forward to attempting to mooch off this millionaire mansion person. It just depends who bought the house. I have a much better chance of entering their circle if they are young/new money or Hollywood. Anybody older than 27 and I don't think they would want to be hanging out with me. Yeah I think as a team/overall they are the best, but a lot of that is due to their bullpen.

Correia has a 5.09 ERA.
Garland is solid but hasn't been great in his last few starts.
Richard is solid, but again hasn't been great recently.
Latos is very good. (I'd argue that Halladay, Wainwrigh, and maybe Cliff Lee have been better. Tim Hudson has also been very good but obviously doesn't have as much flashy stuff.)
LeBlanc is OK. He gives up quite a few home runs considering the park he plays in.

In a post-season series I'd be more worried about Wainwright-Carpenter-Garcia, Roy-Roy-Cole, and Tim-Zito-Cain. Santana-Niese-Dickey would be pretty rough, but I don't think they will get to the postseason.
 
Speaking of hair, I'm getting a haircut on Monday...after 7 months! It's getting really annoying to take care of. I hope I don't look like a boy for orientation.
 
My room is fully swept and swiffered. The dishes are done and laundry's almost done. I've dusted the entire place and rearranged some stuff that had been bothering me. Good productivity so far.

Yeah, I got all the laziness out of my system before 1pm. Ever since I've been extremely productive and it feels good. I get kind of bored when I'm off of work or school for more than a week and feel like I need to do stuff. At least that means I've been sticking to my exercise schedule.

One reason why I didn't buy more than 1 set of curtains for my room is because it helps me wake up at a reasonable time. I think the latest I've slept in here is like 11am. Normally I wake up between 9 and 10, which is perfect for now. The light hits at about 7:15, which will help me wake up for school.
 
Yay, booked a trip to Italy for a conference but going to travel with the fam for a week before it! Mostly free trip courtesy of the NIH!
 
Major happenings around the MLB. Friars add Ludwick, Cards add Westbrook. LAD add Dotel, Lilly, and Theriot. Berkman does go to NYY. Rangers add another piece with Cristian Guzman. Angles apparently are buyers as well, as are the Marlins. Gigantes get bullpen help and a lefty specialist.

That's awesome. I think any traveling I do during med school will be on my own dime. Meaning I won't be traveling very often. :laugh:

I don't why they think they can do anything, the race should be pretty much done barring some major Texas collapse. They're only getting better.

Well at least when I get mine next year, it will be all shiny and new and everybody else's will be old and gross. :laugh:

This Saturday night is pretty boring. I'm at that point where the weekends mean nothing to me since I'm off every day.

I feel like I live in this big apartment all by myself. My roommate is never here. We were supposed to go out all the time and hang out a lot this summer - maybe even write some songs. I get lonely.

I LOVE my new apt. I'm home now, but I'm excited to go back just so I can enjoy its awesomeness. I met a first year dental student across living across the hallway and I'm sure there are plenty more in the same building. Can you say professional school partays!?

Sounds like a cool place.

The only downside of my neighborhood being so awesome is that there aren't many (or probably any) people my age around. It's mostly older families because the places around here are pretty expensive. There aren't many rentals around here at all.

My roommate should be around more once school starts, so that will be good. Or bad, maybe. I don't know.
 
Is your roommate a med student also? I'm living with a pharm student and I think it's going to be pretty chill. She gets what it's like to be tired and cranky, but at the same time, I don't have to deal with the craziness of another med student.
 
This was the heinous traffic I got stuck in driving back from school earlier this week. I was starving and I wanted to eat my salad and drive at the same time but I didn't have a fork. 🙁

No, he works full time right now and is finishing his undergrad at University of New Orleans. He also works while he's in school. He was the drummer in the band I used to play in, we've been best friends since high school.
