nah, haven't received anymore...but i am having SO much trouble with CCOM's....they really have nothing on their site to help me 🙁
 
haha Elijah, yea that sentence basically vaguely answers every single prompt out there if u think about it.

that reminds me, i heard a story about this super tough prof at U of T (toronto)
and he had his students write an essay where they had to argue against the prompt "why?". so all the students wrote their usual long deep answers

but some kid just wrote down, why not? and got 100% loool i thought that was pretty epic. 🙄

@Hoody -- i look forward to seeing ittt. maybe i'll take a picture of my prized possession in return.

UCSD has a absolutely killer 2ndary that is just like what was described. There arent too many schools that do this though🙂. The question is common but the length is shorter for a lot of other schools.
 
I'm scared. I've only slept 1.5 hours in the last 50+....
I'm on call at the hospital starting in 3 hours.


On the plus side, my audition actually kind of kicked ass. Something may come of it after all.

I'm dreading starting the secondaries. I'll probably start on that one as well. Maybe I'll write it in the third person...haha.

Lol third person would be interesting! I ended up going to a baseball game and I have work tomorrow, so it looks like I'll be getting started on saturday.

Seems like I'm already behind on everything! lol.

St. Louis <-- soo short lol <3
Columbia <-- not so much

lol for this and next week you likely wont get too many just a few here and there. Come july is when the flood is mostly🙂. SLU secondary isnt even a 2ndary lol. Its a good one to get

Automatic meaning that everyone who applies gets one. So it's not screened. And I agree with u about the secondary thing. I never understood why we had to do that.

I can't stand watching soccer for long amounts of time. The res are unpredictable and unreliable and the players are total drama queens.

Automatic = they don't screen you for the secondary and email it out when they get it (or so).

Hockey is cool but I almost dislike how violent it is. At least football is violent for a reason usually.

BTW I was just reading the "how you felt when you got in" thread and I had a thought... If a school waitlists you, wouldn't being accepted off the waitlist (assume you have more than one acceptance already) kinda feel like they didn't want you as much as the school that outright accepted you? As if you weren't a good fit for the waitlist school, but were for the acceptance school? Maybe that's just me, but I figure being waitlisted would make me want to withdraw unless there was something magically fantastic about whatever school that was.

I had a quiz question kind of like this in college. One of my philosophy professors placed a chair on a desk and told the class to prove that it didn't exist. We had been studying Descartes, so I was going to write a short essay about how I cannot be sure of the existence of anything except myself. But, the professor was pretty cool (actually wrote my committee letter for medical school), so instead I wrote, "what chair?" I got 10/10 🙂

I looked online and it said that the wait at the DMV was 49 minutes. So I was like, great, I'll go, get my driving record for the UVM secondary, and knock out the Columbia secondary while I'm there.


It only took 7 mins.

This is the first time I've been disappointed that I didn't wait very long at the DMV.

He was saying that it was a longer secondary compared to st. louis... not that he didn't receive it 🙂

Edit: also, did you already get UVM or are you just being super proactive?

Dude, I need sleep...if I read it that badly the first time I am in bad shape. I got off of work at 430 and had to pull over and take a nap at the rest stop by Pendleton for 2 hours...I couldn't make it the last 22 miles. I am wrecked🙂


Super pro active. I couldn't remember my ticket history. Apparently you can't have gotten more than 3 in the last 5 years? I have had 2, unfortunately. And of course, they were both 4 years ago. Blah.

Edit: Today is a day I love SDN, because it made me check my spam folder and find the Michigan Secondary.

I know, right!? I knew the only way I'd be able to answer the question is with a record from the DMV, and I didn't want something that stupid to hold up one of the only secondaries I have with no essays🙂
