Thanks! Looks like I got it too.. Just updated my AMCAS gmail filter to:

AMCAS, AAMC, Medical, status, update, acceptance, rejection, secondary, login -penis

(that is, push anything with all of those words to my inbox, unless it has the word penis in it, because Medical could trip penis enlargement advertisements lol)

I am finally watching Thursday's SYTYCD.....holy crap Brian Gaynor's crew was AWESOME. How their bodies don't fall over when they do that is beyond me.

Hey, how are all of you non-trads answering questions about "extracurricular activities you participated in during college"?
I had none...I worked 35 hours a week🙁 I sort of had some in grad school but that's about it.

i would list the ones in grad school or explain the situation. Usually theres space to explain such discrepancies, thats what i did when i filled stuff out. Normally though, i remember most secondaries not asking what i did during college EC wise, as much as just what Ecs i did, what were the most important/influential/etc. So you shouldnt have to worry about that too much unless im remembering wrong.

Dance is practice and repetition, so practice more! =)

A capella is so cool. I wish I had a good singing voice =\. I guess it skips a generation.. both of my parents are excellent vocalists.

True, but you need to love the practice to practice that much...and I don't🙂 Also, while there is a certain point that anyone can get to with practice, after that there is such thing as anatomy and genetics. I already know my limitations so I will stick to watching which I enjoy SO much more🙂

As far as singing goes...I DON'T have a good voice...but I love it so much, I do it anyway🙂 What I lack in talent I make up for in enthusiasm🙂 And unlike dance I would be happy practicing all day and all night long even if I suck🙂

so I was out last night grabbin some bubble tea and playing some COD at an internet cafe with some friends..we walk out at about 3:30 am and theres like 20 cops surrounding the plaza. apparantly a bunch of asians were stabbing each other in the parking lot and we had to stay till ppl were questioned.
i got some footage on my phone and I caught this 50+ year old cop saying "nah ya cant leave bro"
made me lolz.

was interesting.

T.Dot OOOOOhhhhhh aka toronto, but this wasnt downtown it was in the "greater toronto area" specifically a place called richmond hill. its a nice area but its filled with bunch of rich douchebags.

could be😛. Actually out of all 8 or so interviews i went on, this was the 1st question they made everyone do as the group gathered before each interview, better get used to it! Most of the time it was fine but sometimes it was realllly awkward.

I think this is one of those questions I need to ask my best friend and hope he has a brillant answer.

I remember that in my grad school class, a girl said "My third toe is my longest toe"

I never looked at her the same after that.

Oh Costco!! I don't know why I didn't think of that.

I went to walmart and they screwed it up the first time w/ bad lighting.

I got stuck resizing so SLU would accept the pic. I was trying to use the max size of 250x400 which is useless for a square passport photo. I finally realized 250x250 worked perfectly.

Edit: I wore a tie too, which I haven't done in forever haha

is that really a 2ndary question? Anyways just say something about your yoga like rhino said. Thats good enough. When asked these at interviews, 75% of the answers i heard from others were like "I like soccer" "I like USC/college football" "I like food (no joke)". When compared to those things, saying "Im a yoga insturctor" becomes wildly interesting 😛. You dont have to say something crazy like "most people dont know....i will cure cancer😉"
 
Or say that you tried out for several game shows 👍 That is interesting too and reveals a fun side to you 🙂

ummm... Probably the stuff I'm passionate about, which I just wrote about.

:laugh: trust me I am excellent at BSing... but I resist the urge everyday. I usually take the attitiude of if the truth isn't good enough then it isn't worth it.

Edit: I'm also aware of what makes me unique and interesting.

I think all of us would like to be on a game show... do yoga well... or at least date a cute girl that does yoga well 😛 ----> therefore interesting stuff to talk about briefly 🙂

@Cougar -- lol toronto can be pretty thuggy, its actually hilarious some of my friends from high school have followed that route and now they r involved in this thing called "King of the Dot" which is a rap battle competition lolol. but if its their thing wutever thats kool they still make me laugh. :laugh:
