Eh, I'm more classically styled and feel like you're joking anyway![]()
I dunno, flow, I think you have a lot to learn from his style. I personally would love a doc that dressed like that.

I guess I'm good looking, my mom always tells me I'm super hot but not in a gross way.
I think I'm in love with MCAT guy.
Hey MCAT guy...how YOU doin'?

I'm digging all this fashion talk right now. I can't wait to go shopping for my interview clothes. 😀
What just happened up there? lol
Me too. Except I'm short with narrow shoulders so I'll have to get all my suits altered. Otherwise, I'll look like a kid playing dress-up in mommy's power suits. 🙁
being in shape is fun. getting back into shape, not so fun.
you didn't ask for pudding before having the meat did youIn running the secondary application marathon, I've hit "the wall." I can't for the life of me make myself write a single response of only 800 characters max. 🙁
my strength is there but my muscular endurance is not. cardio has been decently maintained with 1-2 high intensity sessions a week. thank goodness that's all it take to maintain, for the most part.👍
Today was my first day lifting in about 9 days and damn did it suck.
the gym i work at hosts half marathon training for the annual in town half marathon that goes on in September. i thought it was a pretty cool idea, and it's free to anyone.i zumba'd again...spinning tomorrow!

ooooor. the pizza dough from tj's is really cheap. pile it up with sauce of choice and veggies...
OR put small pieces of dough into muffin pans, and make pizza cupcakes. They're so good....and SO easy.
I feel like getting a nostalgia thread going, I'll start:

there are two group runs a week. one long one and then the other one is usually tempo runs at the track. there's a schedule that everyone gets and has suggested workouts for the other days.that sounds really cool...do they help you create an individualized training plan or is it more scheduled group runs?
👍

agree. The lack of hearing from schools at all whatsoever while ppl on SDN are getting invites makes me so restless and anxious that I dunno what I'd do without exercisingI really have a love-hate relationship with the application process. It's full of highs and (mostly) lows
to whom it may concern: i just crushed two pieces of nutella toast.
Are you on Team Edward or Team Jacob?
Haha..they're both equally good looking guys...although I would have to say...I probably lean towards Team Edward 😛 *sigh oh the memories*
Anyhoo, all this fashion talk has gotten me very very confused about the type of dress shoe I've gotta wear to interviews. I've got a grey suit, so I'm set there....so maybe y'all can help me choose the nicest pair of dress shoes!

Is the pair on the left the "square toed" ones...so should I wear the ones on the right?
*confused*
are you not familiar with all of the nutella freaks in this thread. i enjoy it, but if the right people emerge they will talk about it for a solid hour.Duly noted...?
1500 calories never tasted so damn good.to whom it may concern: i just crushed two pieces of nutella toast.
The left are very square toed. Style pushed by cole haan especially. Not acceptable, especially on the east coast (you might get away with it on the west coast.) The right ones are alright, although the ideal would look like this:Haha..they're both equally good looking guys...although I would have to say...I probably lean towards Team Edward 😛 *sigh oh the memories*

Just to play it safe, go with a nice pair of 6 inch lucite hooker heels 😛

WHOA I just got three interview invites!!! 😱
j/k, that was just my Kip impersonation. It's good, right? 😛 Luv ya, Kip 😉
I was about to post "HOLY CRAP CONGRATS!" and then I noticed that your post was too long... and I was like =( sun feels my pain =(.
i dont know what kind of bread you use or how much nutella but there is no way in hell that was even a third of 1500 cals.1500 calories never tasted so damn good.
Two reasons, which are pretty closely relatedhahaha! that'll definitely wow my interviewer!
Haha...can you please explain to me the problem with squared toe shoes? I'm a bit confused as to why it's "unacceptable"...maybe this is because I'm from the west coast and have no sense of fashion llol.
I was JK. It probably is just around 500 tho.. but I also intentionally overestimate (but not dramatically--the 1500 was for effect) my calorie counts.i dont know what kind of bread you use or how much nutella but there is no way in hell that was even a third of 1500 cals.
Two reasons, which are pretty closely related
1. Square toe shoes are ugly.
2. Square toe shoes are not stylish.
I'll explain. They're only popular (fashionable) because companies have to put out new, different designs so that people will buy new stuff. However, most people who know how to dress, do not wear square toe shoes. This is because they're ugly and unstylish. In the west coast, it is a bit more acceptable to be fashionable (think of it as "temporarily stylish") than it is on the east coast (which is closer to and more influenced by europe and more conservative/stylish in nature). NYC and FL seem like notable exceptions on the EC, but I wouldn't know that exactly.
Basically, when interviewing, you want to dress conservatively styled/stylish. This is because you don't want to offend people with your clothing--you want them to remember you for your positive personality, chiseled jaw, whatever.
if i overestimate i dont eat enough to workout and then life sucks.I was JK. It probably is just around 500 tho.. but I also intentionally overestimate (but not dramatically--the 1500 was for effect) my calorie counts.
Yeah that's pretty much correct. You will undoubtedly see a lot of square toed shoes on interviews. Just know that those people simply weren't informed that they shouldn't be wearing square toed shoes and now you're in the know =)Hmm, if I understood your post correctly, it seems that square toed shoes were a design put out by companies to generate a new "design" and "trend" that essentially 1) never caught on or 2) died out/can't even be considered fashionable by conservative measures. Square-toed shoes are "loud"/"nonconservative" in terms of their fashion statement and therefore shouldn't be worn at interviews?
This confusion might be explained by the fact that I live in the west coast and have two pairs of square toed shoes...
I'm trying to lose some fat, so therein lies the rub =Pif i overestimate i dont eat enough to workout and then life sucks.
lol, I think of it as an energy balance... running only burns a few calories compared to my daily usage. (<15% usually) But running gives great benefits otherwise which is why I do indeed need to get back into running!stop dancing and start running then haha
