i've been to a few countries in central and south america.. ridiculously scenic and amazing trails but unless you are planning on Rio or something the party scene is kinda beat. i would go Europe if you are trying to bar hop

Sounds like a plan. Make sure you engineer the otters so the oil they produce to waterproof their fur doesn't stink like dead fish!

another week of silence. So I'm baking/eating my feelings. Nutella chocolate chip cookies and Irish Car Bomb cupcakes! 🙂 Plus, it's hard to be in a bad mood with all the amazing sporting events going on. Go Blazers! 😍

Big game in LA this weekend: Oregon vs. USC. Anyone going? Anyone excited?

Gotta admit, I have gotten away from watching sports... but I tend to prefer the non-major sports.

I am still awaiting news from the school I interviewed at - letter is STILL in the mail - but I got an interview offer from a second school today that I am so excited about!

Thanks! Baking is very therapeutic. Good thing I think running is too.

I think I'm going to be a York peppermint patty. I have a silver shirt (because, why not?) and can make the design for it. Plus, that means I can take around a bag of Yorks all night and therefore eat tons of candy. 🙂 Perfect
 
I don't think I got accepted by UIC. I thought my interview here was easy too. My bad interview turns into acceptance and my good interviews gets me a waitlist/rejection? And although the tuition for UIC as an oos pains me, I really liked the school. I don't know how to describe how I feel right now...kinda like when the boy you like no longer sits next to you on the bus cause his friends started making fun of him

My homies and I were going to go as guidos...now that we've realized that everyone and their mom is doing that, we have decided against it. Now my bf wants us to dress up as "swingers" (I'm still not convinced that he knows what, exactly, a swinger looks like 🙄)

I had what I choose to interpret as a very positive omen for my med school application season. I picked up the book "Outliers" today and started to read it. You know, it's the one all about how successful people get to be successful.

You know what the dedication of the book is? "For Daisy." 😍

Sigh, if only Daisy was my IRL name... but still!

Oh no Starry! I'm sorry to hear that. Maybe it is a blessing in disguise because of the sky-high tuition though. More acceptances will come 🙂

I really wanted to dress up as a bumble bee this year but have to work. I guess I can always wear my costume to work although pretty sure the nurses will get annoyed

haha, of course! But lots of ppl are old and gross without being swingers. I want to SPECIFICALLY be able to pinpoint the "swinger" look. (I was thinking, like, red turtleneck dress, black boots, gold jewelry, poofed-out hair...hmmm)

Thanks guys! I've been accepted at Drexel, waiting to hear from a couple other schools. Still trying to find a good costume for tonight...
 
so i went to the bathroom to wash the smell of burritos of my fingers and ended up buzzing my head with no guard. it feels awesome!
 
I met up with the real Whimsy today and she is super nice 😳 And she put up with walking in a giant circle around campus because I didn't really plan out where to go beforehand lol
 
Haha, Suncrusher, you're sneaky. I would totally have called you on this if I had seen your costume before I met you.

I'll forgive you, though. Our walk was good! I'd been cooped up inside all day and it's nice outside. 🙂
