Though, Fergie will be sad when she hears the playback. I've heard her live enough times to know that she does NOT sound like that. Either her earpiece was broken or she didn't have one, because if she could have heard herself...it would not have gone down like that.
 
Eh... this is not the first time I was not impressed with the BEP live.

Also, I think they look like Griff's gang from Back to the Future 2.
 
Yeah the commercials have sucked so far. The E-trade baby always makes me laugh (especially the milkaholic lindsay thing from last year), but other than that the my favorite commercial was the phone commercial that played a ratatat song in the background. not a good year for commercials

The commercials are crap. I was with some relatives who enjoyed them and I was all like:

I liked the beaver and Bridgestone commercial and the P Diddy Mercedes commercial.....mostly because I liked seeing P Diddy lose his car.
 
I loved the mini-Vader commercial. Too cute. You could see the excitement on that kid's face through the mask.

Fergie was absolutely horrible. I thought Usher did a good job of saving the performance though.
 
halftime on Glee was pretty awesome 🙂

I liked it, if only for the spectacle... huge shows like that remind me of fun times in drama club back in my school days. I miss performing sometimes.

Dude, it's a rookie mistake. You left out the key factor that all the black promotion stuff is so that companies and politicians can get in good with the minorities and make more money (green). Thus, green and yellow. It's an easy miss, though - something of a right of passage into prophecy.

How's everyone today? I'm a little bummed at the lack of good commercials during last night's sporting event, the only one I really liked was mini-Vader.

Thats the only one I didnt like....jk i didnt like any, except the monkey one. Commercials are stupid anyways.

On another note- DONT EVER DRINK EXPIRED BEER. I only had 5 beers (IPAs), but i think one was expired and as a result had the most raging, ridiculously intense headache i have ever had....and I have drank some in my time. I mean not only was the headache disproportional to the amount i drank, it was downright extreme. Drinking that expired beer is the only explanation i am able to come up with for such an anomaly of a headache.

Anybody ever had similar a similar experience?
 
People that do not seem to understand the definition of a troll annoy me. Someone calling you out on your judgmental nonsense is not a troll.

This is from another message board I frequent and it's like trying to talk to a wall.

It's rare that anyone understands the definition of a troll. People are wrongly accused of being trolls 8-9 times out of 10. 🙄

Well, most of the inaccurate claims of troll here are directed towards noobs asking dumb questions. At least those people seem to understand the concept of what trolling IS, they just don't realize the person is serious and just THAT clueless.

I'm talking about something more like this.

LOL, it's a mom message board. The above example isn't just me. That particular board cries troll whenever people (and I am sometimes one of them) from other boards come over and call them out. Also, I have more posts than that there. 😛

And they're not trolling, trust me, they really are that dumb and self-righteous. What's really funny is that if you were to read the things they post, they are so ludicrous you'd think they were trolling, except it's on their own board, they're totally serious and all agreeing with each other. It's amazing. :meanie:

How can you make a claim like that? It's the internet; you usually can't know for sure. And I know you two weren't originally talking about SDN, but a troll is someone who is trying to get a rise out of everyone, and on SDN that definition can extend to people purposely asking a noob question or making an ignorant statement that has already been asked/made 2137189 times on SDN already. On SDN, you'll almost never be certain that you've distinguished between someone asking a noob question about DOs or making facepalm-worthy comments about their undergrad major being Anesthesiology and someone who is a forum regular, with a new account and using a free IP proxy, asking a noob question with which they know everyone will be annoyed or making facepalm-worthy comments about how the Theory of Evolution is "just a theory." I mean, yeah, some people out there really are that stupid and inflammatory. Like my mother or 40% of America, for instance. You don't expect to encounter it as much on a premed forum, but it happens. So one is forced, if one aspires to run a fair forum that isn't full of mods who are accused of going on power trips and banning people who didn't deserve it, to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. But some of those people really were trolls, and won't get banned until after they've already trolled ten more times.

Moral of the story: the internet sucks and trolls will always win.

P.S. GC, plz post some anonymous examples of involuntary mommy-trolls for our amusement :laugh:👍
