You guys have so much fun when I'm sleeping. 🙁

Also, we dropped SO much money at the freakin' Home Depot last night. 🙁 again. Though I did get the hubster his anniversary (and Father's Day, cuz it was expensive) gift.

1) If you were a comic strip character, who would you be and why? Comic strip? Like in the newspaper? Gah, I don't know. I don't really read them.
2) What thought or message would you want to put in a fortune cookie? Man who relies on cookie to tell him what to do will have crumby future. (*rimshot*)
3) If you had to give up a favorite food, which would be the most difficult to give up? Seafood, because I like to get it pretty much whenever we go out.
4) You've been given access to a time machine. Where and when would you travel to? Renaissance Europe.
5) If you could be any superhero and have super powers, which one would you like to have and why? Can I really live up to my screenname and say my main character from the superhero themed MMO I play? Because she's awesome... (obviously, because I made her 😀)
6) What award would you love to win and for what achievement? Mother of the Year, and not in the snarky, self-deprecating way I award it to myself when my kid hurts herself or tries to OD on chocolate milk. Okay, not really. Um... just NOT a Darwin Award.

🙂 I googled catfight to find a funny image, but I think that the Wikipedia article tops any pic...

I just find out I won my hospitals "spot light on values award." I get a $250 gift card, a parking spot in front of the hospital for 1 month, my picture posted for a year, and the head of the hospital is going to present me my award. Pretty stoked... but too bad I couldn't have won it earlier and listed it on my app 😀.

I guess someone I work with wrote a letter nominating me, and a committee picked me for the award. It is given out once a month, and at the end of the year one of the 12 recipients is selected for a larger award :xf:.

Unrelated: Has anyone seen Your Highness? I've been really excited for it to come out, but it got pwned on IMDB/reviews...etc. I'm still probably going to go see it tonight.
 
Your Highness will be a rental for us. We usually don't bother paying for tickets/asking my mom to babysit unless it's a movie that really benefits from being seen in the theatre.

That means we see a lot of action/epic/sci-fi flicks.
 
a couple days ago i saw an ad for a lifetime movie about william & kate middleton. for the love of christ..

I live near a few theaters so it's not too much of a problem to stop by. And i think comedies are fun with a larger audience...

I saw Labyrinth (it was a flashback screening) last night and it was hilarious! I forgot how much of a creeper David Bowie is in that movie. :laugh:

Sun, it's not impressive. it's sad. it also demonstrates how much free time, lack of a consistent real social life, i've had since i finished undergrad. i do appreciate the sentiment though.

I couldn't keep sdn a secret in my household, between the sheer volume of time I spend (embarrassingly large), and the times that I really do "laugh out loud" and someone says, "what's so funny?".....busted!

No one in my program knows I post on here, or at least not who I am, although I know several of them read sdn.

I think I am the exact opposite, I posted more when I was in school. But, after getting accepted and graduating, my post count has dwindled. I might end up like Elijah05 and vanish after school starts. I predict I will have to stay away in order to make it through med school. I probably need to kick my fb scrabble addiction as well.

A good amount of it is erroneous stuff that happens in The Lounge, but I do post a lot...there's no denying it. And of course there are all of the images...

Yeah, nasty weather. I thought about extending some kind of invite when you got the second look email but I figured it would be a quick visit and didn't want to obligate you to extend it (read: "I didn't want to seem creepy").
