I had heard that physicians in smaller towns earn more. The explanation I got from a family medicine resident was that, at least for salaried physicians, the pay had to be better in more rural areas as an incentive to go somewhere you wouldn't want to live elsewhere. Regardless of the reason:

which phone did you get, cliff?

I'm looking at the new verizon 4g phones (thunderbolt, droid bionic, samsung), but it sounds like their batteries get sucked up so fast by the lightning fast browsing speeds

Is the iphone 4 with 4g available for verizon yet, or still only for AT&T? I have a feeling I'd like a droid OS better, but not if all the non-iphone phones are going to have terrible battery life...

If eablackwell or anyone knows when the iphone 5 is coming out (assumed it will launch at verizon at the same time?), please lmk.

lg optimus. it was the best deal with my upgrade and the reviews are great. i'm enjoying it so far.

where i'm going to be for school will likely never be a 4g hotspot, so that wasn't really an issue for me. had it been i might have sprung for the evo 4 shift.

Right now for breakfast I'm eating a ****ton of angel food cake, cold pizza, and creamsickle oreos. 👍 Hooray for fast metabolism!

No current iPhones are 4G compatible. I'm on the Verizon one. Sure waiting half a year would've been nice but I needed a new phone at the start of this year.

If you're waiting on a 4G capable iPhone, you'll probably have to wait for the 5. I haven't been following tech release dates lately so I can't comment on when that is (IIRC people were saying September somewhere in another thread?).

What droid did you get? This has to be a mistake, because now that I switched, I learned that iPhone is crap, unless you're 50 and don't know how to use real phone functionality lol. My grandma just got herself an iPhone 4, and she seems to be happy...that's when I had to get out forrealll

you can always turn off your 4g when trying to save battery life. there are also so many diff ways to save battery that give you a full days worth of battery. the thunderbolt is realllllllly sick, and I've heard rumors of the iPhone 5 coming out in September. But, as a previous iPhone owner, I'd rather stick to email and house phones than purchase any Apple-affiliated electronic


on a lighter note, the iPhone 5 is rumored to have a dual core processor, which would be an impressive move by Apple, even though by that time there could be a droid with a quad core 😛
 
Does everyone here have Verizon Wireless or AT&T? All I've read are posts by VZW users lol....I feel like such an outcast with Sprint!
