1) if i remember correctly flowrate is a fan of the bowtie
2) that vid was perfect. i think it's hilarious when mom's comment on relationship status updates and stuff like that.

when i think jordans+jeans the jeans are always baggy, but i don't like baggy jeans. i'm sure you guys look fly.

there's this page that's like "i know you got yo swag on, but can you pull up your pants and walk a little faster please?" i was going to become a fan but i don't become fans of pages...that's confusing.
 
nah my jeans aren't baggy. and i wear a belt so its all good.

I know, that's why I'm saying - only he could pull that off, he's a certified pimp. I'm trying to imagine what would happen if I wore a bowtie next time i went out. Probably would be laughed at.... lol

i stick with my standard attire, and i have no problems

2. I know! My mom and grandma comment on my stuff and I'm just like *bleargh-facepalm*. My grandma usually asks me what I'm talking about lol. Once I posted a status about considering going to an AILD concert and she asked me what AILD (As I Lay Dying) was and I told her "a band." Haha.

"3." I have the opposite problem... Some of my pants are a little too tight. It does make me laugh on the inside when people um... stare... at.. the tightness.. or something :laugh:

That day went surprisingly well, considering I had never worn a bow-tie before. (and just went to school with it for fun lol) Got called gay a few times, got a few compliments. Whatever. You can't take yourself too seriously when you're wearing a pink bow tie. Haha.

actually, this is kinda smart - i just realized that even if you turn your privacy so that only your friends can see your profile, your fan pages are still visible to anyone who does a search of you

It was nice. The Chapel Hill/Durham area was pretty awesome (but tons of pollen) and I had fun in Richmond. I also visited Charlottesville on the way back.

VCU is a really awesome school, but I think I am choosing LSU and this trip definitely helped the decision.

that's good. congrats on narrowing it down! i was in the raleigh-durham area last weekend and the pollen was terrible. when i was leaving it looked like a yellow haze because there was so much pollen.
 
i think one's intuition in picking between 2 possible answers on a multiple choice question permeates through all facets of life. In the past couple of days, i've been analyzing how often i make a correct choice, when i have 2 possible options and blindly taking a guess. It has been 6 times now, when I go to put my music earbuds on, i always hope I manage to put the left one in my left ear, and so far, i'm 0 for 6...

what are you on, man? also, you know that if you are given three options, you choose one, then one of the final two is taken away from you and you are given the option to stay or switch...you should always switch.

i'm high on life. but for real i think there's a lot of research potential into the logistics of how people make blind choices - when all other factors are removed. (when there's no background info, no reasoning, no other influences); especially when in relation to multiple choice questions.

actually, there's already considerable research on how to PREVENT certain known strategies people subconsciously use to make blind guesses. check out this journal article: http://www.jstor.org/stable/1434106?cookieSet=1 By changing instructions even a tiny bit, you can alter how people answer. Apparently the 1/5th negative mark scoring on some tests will psychologically prevent people from taking even educated risks, when they truly feel they have the right answer.

Haha I remember reading about this. That's only under the circumstance that the "correct" choice is never removed, if I remember correctly.

not a chance in hell i'm signing up or thinking about studying until i get my scores back.

if you would've walked into the gym tonight you would've been like "damn is that steve nash?". playing basketball is so much more fun when you're in decent shape. hoops for the win, all day. everyday.

my formal is the wkend before, so i plan on not thinking about it until april 27th at 5 or else i won't enjoy it and i won't be able to study for finals.

radiology, derm, and really specialized specialties wouldn't have to do this, right?

yeah i imagine it's going to be hard. esp because i've never had anyone close to me pass. (knock on wood)
 
but during rotations and intern year we'll at least be exposed to it

Considering the two specialities I'm most interested in will mostly only tell people their babies are dead... yeah, it's crossed my mind. 🙁
