Facebook does this too... always shows me engagement ring ads. When my town was on fire last year, tons of my Facebook ads were for firefighter training programs. It's like wtf, way to show some sympathy? A raging inferno was a half mile up my street.

I get a lot of pregnancy/maternity clothes related ones. Hubster and I were going to try to have another baby before school. Chicklet happened pretty much instantly, and this time we tried for 4 months. As of Monday it was clear that's not happening in time for the kid to be old enough to start daycare when I would start school... so that's out, at least for several months. That's what shat on my birthday.

So yes, I'm annoyed by them, too.

i found out this morning that they completely messed up my entire situation at school...unbelievable

Hey, when is everyone in Philly? I FINALLY (like 5 mins ago) solidified my flights and I will be there from the 5th to the 7th. Anyone else? Also, Geekmama, sorry I won't be there all day on the 7th like I thought, I have to work the 8th, blah🙁

I will be there as soon as I get some love from Philly. Sigh, Philadelphia... a town so good, they named cream cheese after it.

I know there's a thread about interview clothing but there's much debate about panty hose. I'll be wearing a skirt and really don't think I can bring myself to wear them. It can't be that big of a deal, right?

I'm going to because I'm always cold and I have some fairly noticeable scars on my legs from being a huge tomboy growing up. Even without those reasons, keep in mind that the people interviewing you are probably going to be old as balls and that means the more conservatively dressed you are, the better.

In other news, I ate like half a box of Chocolate Mini-Wheats Little Bites. Those things should come with a warning label about their addictive qualities.

No popping from me. I've been alcoholic it up for the last FOUR days... so it looks better... but still, ughhhhhhh.

My mom hasn't seen me in over a month and her first few minutes seeing me... she was staring at it. It has overtaken me face 😱

I kid. But I would like to think I am as cute as a kitten so hopefully no one will notice 🙂

Jeez, parents can be so bad sometimes. I came home from school a few years ago, and I'm at a restaurant with my parents. My father is staring at my face weird for several minutes. Finally out of no where he says, "Did you break your nose?" And he speaks rather loud, so I was very embarrassed. I was like, "no!". Nothing is glaringly wrong with it, other than whatever knocks it may have gotten from being an athlete my whole life during sports. I don't remember ever breaking it (unless I did when I was really little or during a school yard tussle). But I was just thinking, are you kidding me?
 
Just finished reading The Lost Dogs, the story of Michael Vicks dogs who were rescued.


Honestly, people make mistakes, but Vicks just one scumbag who doesn't deserve to live. 😡

He should be starved and beaten and forced to fight another person found guilty of dog-fighting to the death.
