Yep. I get sticker shock when I see the tuition for being an OOS student anywhere else, and I wanted to go back to Texas for med school since I've been away for undergrad.
 
II got some good good news fellas. SDN is acting pretty bad in my phone though today and I'm at my undergrad's homecoming so fun times. Hope you're all enjoying you're weekend!!

Nov 13th? If I don't decide to stay in NY for the weekend, then I will be in Berks...but not at the game (no tickets 🙁🙁 ) BUT if you are here, I can definitely walk to memorial stadium to meet you! 😀

Unless you are talking about the Oregon State game...which is in Oregon...lol

Haha yes the Oregon game in Berkeley! It'd be cool if we found a way to meet up amid all the gameday craziness. But NYC is really cool so you should totally stay there if you can. I'll be back in the bay several times this year and next year because my sister lives there.

and apparently there was a guy down the street from my house selling a parking spot for the Cal-UCLA game for $20...sketch! Go bears!

I know🙁 Though I am happy that they will be giving rejections this year instead of putting everyone in waitlist hell. I would rather just KNOW than not know.
 
The one I'm hoping for (Chicago) gives phone calls. As if I needed any more reason for my smartphone to stay glued to my arm...

That, and the GPS needs in strange cities. I had a dream where I was using my iPhone. I think it says a lot about a culture when a piece of technology is so common place (like a car) when it is part of your dream without being out of the ordinary.

I've definitely had dreams where I was e-mailing, and before I got my MCAT score back I definitely had several dreams where I saw the score up on the screen. Technology is definitely permeating way too much of my life.

Looks like somebody traded their integrity and maturity for jealousy and insecurity. I bet that feels awesome 😎. Hopefully, those attributes come up again in something like an interview, career, or life. Then again, that person will probably lie to themselves and pretend they still have those positive attributes they so easily gave away.

mustaches on little kids clearly make the best halloween costumes. What else could we do...mario and luigi little kids? hitler little kid? umm...i honestly don't know anyone else with mustaches. I hate mustaches.

chicklet is super cute. The stubby little wings on the back of the costume make are adorableeeee

Completely unrelated, but for some reason, no matter how many times I've seen an episode of Arrested Development, it never gets old.

Yessir, from one of my interview this past month.. so now I can officially join you all in the class of 2015, as with it being the first one, I'm now in somewhere!

I'm back from my weekend in San Francisco. I love that city... but I'm not delusional enough to think I could get into UCSF or Stanford med. 🙁

This process is random. You never know what may happen....unless you didn't apply then well, yeah, you're not going to get in. It isn't over until you get a letter in your hand, email in your inbox, call on your cellphone, or a status change online. 😀

Congrats, fellow NYer! I can hardly wait myself. Tomorrow is my last interview before the 15th and then it's 4 days of anxious waiting.

Thanks for the positivity bookfreak! I didn't apply to those schools because my sGPA would make me the laughingstock of those school's adcoms, but I'm hoping to get into some other awesome schools.

Plus a homeless lady came up to me and shoved her colostomy bag in my face so I would give her money, and I have an awkward encounter like that every time I visit SF. I think that would wear on me after a while.

Can I just say that there is a new poster on Pre-Allo that makes me want to beat my head against a wall? If you venture out of this thread at all I'm sure you'll see it. :bang:

You know how there is a "you must be at least this tall to ride" sign at amusement parks (and in Cougs lil black book)? There should be a "you must be at least this google competent" sign on SDN. That kid must have decided to be pre-med just last week.

Is the poster now banned? There was a douche commenting on the parody rap video thread that got banned, but I don't know if that's the one you're talking about.

just think of every cliche thread that you've ever read on SDN. Then look for those threads. You will find that they have all been started by the same person over the course of two days.

Apparently you can't ban someone for being lazy/dumb
