Haha, had a fun trip to Catalina! We decided to go on a little hike on Saturday. We had a choice of a 2 hour hike or a 5 hour one. We told the lady we wanted to do the shorter one, and she gave us directions to the long one. Didn't realize we were on the long trail until 2 hours came and went 🙄. Was a fun day. Got an awesome view of the entire island from there. Good day, although the single water bottle we brought was empty 3/4 of the way through and I almost had to carry her the by the end of the walk . Good time though!

I just dug up the info for second look from last year's Temple SSD thread. They went to Dave & Buster's for 3 hours after being on campus for most of the day. F***ing awesome. I'm so there.

Hey guys! I'd like to formally introduce myself as I am now an official member of the class of 2015! My name is Spleenic. I have been in and out of this forum for the past few months. I am a dude (mid 30s), married, and have a 1.5 yr old son. I am a huge Phish fan. I also love snowboarding and NHL hockey (Blackhawks!). I am generally pretty sarcastic, which does not always translate so well on forums. I am currently employed as an organ and tissue recovery specialist. I am interested in surgery (general, ortho, transplant). So, yeah...hello.

So I'm currently in Boston and the snow has been shoveled/plowed up to half my height, and in some places, past my height of 1.70 meters....it's quite scary having to trek thru some of those areas haha...because the my feet and **** get all wet. Otherwise they're doing an amazing job of keeping most of the streets/sidewalks clear so people can go on with their business. Quite frankly, I don't know why schools and stuff were closed/cancelled...totally unnecessary with the way they cleaned up after 30 cm of snow!

My favorite caffeinated thing is a cafe mocha. Peppermint mocha during Christmas time. Mmmmmmmmmm good.

I usually just have a cup or two with some hazelnut flavored creamer and a few packets of Splenda. I've cut back to 12 oz./day and I'm SO friggin' tired.

I had the most amazing Peppermint mocha at one of my interviews. It was from a little mom-and-pop store. I took it to the movies with me....I saw Burlesque. It was SO good.

I don't think I could be a vegetarian. I love meat too much. I ate a whole plate of hot wings the other night... they were soooo good! I haven't had hot wings in a couple of years. Didn't realize just how much I missed them!
