Today when I called a Flexi-seal a "poo tube" in front of one of the other students at my hospital, she laughed so loud the entire cafeteria was like, 😕wtf. It was pretty fun. Also, boo on C-diff poo

Same here- my last (f*** yea!) overnight shift at work is keeping me off the margaritas. Now taking over/under bets on how many acute intoxication patients we get tonight... Since it is a Thursday my guess is 3 or fewer.

Haha, nice. Yeah, the extent of my festivities of the day will include a quesadilla for dinner. Woohoo. (Yay for covering a 5am shift tomorrow... because my idiotic coworker let his certification expire so he couldn't work this whole week.)

Problem was, Andrea had the hots for Gerry. Luther threatened Gerry numerous times, but Gerry and Andrea couldn't resist each other, until one day Dasha pushed Andrea off the 3rd floor balcony. Luckily, Andrea only suffered minor injuries...

Finals are done but I won't be fully back until I climb out from under this mound of sdn PS's...man those things either bring on the lulz or the cringe, and in no way do they restore faith in the future of medicine.

Yes. Also, if anyone could explain to me why Buffalo Wild Wings is called BW3's when there are clearly only 2 W's in the name, said person will win the internets for the month of May. I didn't realize that yesterday was Cinco de Mayo until someone at the hospital mentioned it. Then I forgot multiple times throughout the day and failed to celebrate. Not deliberately, I did have Chipotle for dinner (at a location sans margaritas) and 5 de mayo never crossed my mind as a reason for the atypical 15+ minute wait in line. I just assumed it was part of my Al Bundy luck and notoriously poor timing.

🙂 Nah, kiddo was just either facing my back or curled up. Chicklet did the exact same thing. They (the techs, two of them tried) said everything looked perfectly normal, including what they could see of the heart, but the radiologist wouldn't be satisfied with the images they got.

Trust me, there's no pleasing the radiologists...they keep on wanting higher-resolution scanners with reduced scan time and higher signal-to-noise ratio, all at a reduced cost. :laugh: Glad to hear everything looks all right.

I would bestow the keys to the internets, but it appears you already have them, sir. Finals were meh overall. 2 good, 2 that could have and should have been better. Worst case I pull 2x A- for the semester in the classes with the mediocre finals, which is irksome but still an accurate reflection of my efforts. I predict that I'll be sitting 3.7 < 3.8 for both s and cGPA's come application time; I don't think there's anything I could do in either direction to get out of that range given the heap of credit hours upon which I already sit. I am jumping through the flaming hoops, trying to suffer no worse than 1st degree burns.

Cizzle, glad the US was ok. Kind of a hassle to go back for another, but I imagine it's a small price to pay for peace of mind.
 
It's no trouble. I'm sure everything's fine and we are only about 1.5 miles from the hospital where I had the u/s. I also want better pictures for us because the two we got aren't too great.

Why immediately guarantee that every. single. follower. on twitter will read through (after RTing) that entire thread looking for what's so "stupid," other than folks taking it seriously. When you think an idea needs to die, you don't elevate it to your playing field.
