I once left a small amount of Clearasil on my face in an attempt to get rid of a pimple and I fell asleep with it. Had a minor chemical burn from that as well. Sucked cause it created a more apparent blemish on my face compared to that small bump I was trying to get rid of 🙁.

LMAO, no I will not; I won't kid myself. And actually, my husband isn't particularly impressed by her (he can't stand something about her lips :shrug:) but since she's short and curvy she's a good inspiration. There was a time I was about that thin, I'd like to revisit it.

Ya. I wasn't even sure how long it lasted but turns out it was a 2 year marriage! Didn't seem that long.


I still suspect it was a publicity stunt 🙄.

Why are Lenovo laptops so unattractive?? They seem so durable.......this is very difficult for me.

the thinkpads have stayed with the same basic aesthetic for over 10 years. i think its ok. if it works and is durable why change it.

i think the thinkpad x1 is tight

but too expensive for what u get. HUH HUH

I did get a bunch of books off a graduating student today. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't excited...

Ya, the one I was checkin out is definitely on the expensive side. Not sure if it's worth it....if only it was prettier I might be sold.

I'm writing this on a 7-year old Thinkpad x40 (from back when it was still an IBM). It has served me well but I think it's on its last legs. After I take it behind the shed and shoot it, I plan to move on to the Toshiba r835.

Most of the ones I'm looking at are just under 4lbs. Yea, the battery life is supposedly great. Lasts all day.

Haha, I'm kinda offended since I'm a ThinkPad fanatic! They're definitely on the tough side--my cousin ran one over with a Toyota 4Runner..still worked!

Omg I signed mine today too!! It feels so ****ing exciting, except I'm moving on 01 July, which kinda sucks because I will know no one in NYC for 4th of July (and my roommate is heading back to his university for that holiday lol)

I agree--Thinkpads are on the pricier side, but they're not "too expensive"--they give you a lot of durability and unparalleled customer service...at least I've had nothing but awesome experiences. Also, my 3 year warranty has served me well, even though it cost me an additional 250 bucks or so. My 14.1" laptop 3 years ago (with upgraded parts) cost me about 1500?

That stinks, trio. 🙁 I let myself sleep in today since I woke up every hour since 2am for some unknown reason. Sadly sleeping in for me means til 5:30am.

Sorry you're missing out on Tara, it's an awesome show on Showtime. I've watched since the beginning and I'm going to miss it. You're probably not living under a rock, apparently most people have never seen it since they're cancelling it. Anyway, awesome characters, crazy storylines especially re: the main character's multiple personalities.
 
I still haven't decided if I want to get a new computer or not. There's really nothing wrong with our laptop. It's served us very well for close to 2 years and considering it was only about $500 I'm pleased. I just want an excuse for a new shiny piece of technology, but I don't know if I'd be best served with something smaller and more portable for school, a tablet laptop, a tablet peripheral, etc.

Lol, I think I first need cable in order to enjoy stuff like that...Even when I move into my new apt, my roommate and I have yet to decide whether we're going to get cable. I'm leaving it up to him to make the final decision--I respect his desires.
