i am. that's how i'm going to do my letters because my pre-med committee and i have NO relationship because i was a transfer student and i didn't even know about it til way too late.

because I got afraid I would need the letters again if I need to re-apply :laugh:. Actually the cost difference wasn't too much so I figured I would keep them awhile just in case.

for some reason i think the interfolio guy posted in the pre-do forum and said that they keep your info/letters/etc on file for 5 years after your account expires

My school doesn't offer a commitee letter and they stopped putting together letter packets this year too. The advantage to using interfolio is that you can collect your letters before May when AMCAS opens. I have heard a lot of people end up having their app delayed b/c they are waiting for profs to submit their LOR.

In May I can just transfer my LOR from interfolio to AMCAS and I'm good to go.
 
Where I have been? In the SP/Lounge mostly.

wish I had known,I guess they don't tell you that on their website so you buy the extra time.

really??? that's the BEST PART. midway through last time i went to the restroom, looked in the mirror, and was like "YEAH I"M MID WAY THROUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Wow.

I went into the test predicting I would do OK-great on Physics, Bad on Verbal, Ok on Writing and Great-Fantastic on Bio.

Physics sucked ass and made me borderline needing therapy.

Verbal was better than I anticipated. Same with the essays

And bio was so f*cking hard!!!!!

11 B, 12 P, 11V R bleh

No one knows how the **** it'll turn out.

When I look in the mirror I always say "you're bitchin'!" 🙂
 
see idk, i just don't think about how i'm doing on the test DURING the test. i leave that for later. i push away all my feelings of self doubt and 'omg wtf'ness so that i can concentrate on one question at a time. after each section i was like okay! no more physics, thats good, and didnt let myself think about it til the end of the test.

it worked well until bio, where, holy sh it it was hard ochem stuff and i was like F THIS S and finally just finished the questions and left.
 
yeah i think physics is going to bend me over, but i'm not worried about the rest really.

i don't think about it til i'm done either. "next play" is a basketball drill where you have a good or a terrible play, but it moves to the next play immediately so you don't dwell on it. perfect for the mcat
 
I wish I could take you all out for drinks after.

just chillax it'll be fine. I got a 22 on a PR practice test a week before the exam and somehow things worked out fine.
 
yeah my friend said he got a 21 the week of his test and still hit a 28, its not great but he was definitely glad it wasnt a 21. i'd be happy enough with a 28
 
woooo too bad i can't even go out saturday night 🙁

i am getting over being sick and going away next week 🙁 (i mean 🙂 that i'm going away but 🙁 that i can't celebrate being free til i'm not sick)

i'm on medication for being sick right now (i hate you, immune system), and let me put it this way: i had ONE DRINK tonight, and i'm feeling it like i had three. i feel like if i went out saturday night i might actually die because i would be so happy to be free people would be doing shotskis with me and then...well that would be the end of curbye.

so i will wait until monday when i can have rum smoothies for breakfast lunch and get a headache by dinner when i will have a vodka smoothie to cure the headache.

My migraine medication does that to me. It's a bad, bad idea for me to drink after taking it. First I throw up, and then I pass out - even if I've only had 2 or 3 drinks. Ridiculous.

Enjoy your rum smoothies! It's going to feel SO good when you're finally done. :luck:

It's the one after 1 year, right? I wanted to make sure I could re-send my letters if need be... I had a letter that I needed to get at the beginning of the semester, so I got my interfolio then.

I haven't posted in forever! Taking a small hiatus to prepare for my exam. Just thought I'd drop by for a bit. I'm getting a new non-science LOR, the other is like trying to hide from me 🙁 I gotta go see one of my science ones today to schedule a meeting because she'll talk to me in person but ignore my emails :-\

Oh, I also discovered my unknown bacteria in my microbio class. It's shigella sonnei :scared: It is the main cause of shigellosis (sp?) which kills 10-15% of those with it, and makes the others really really sick. I wish I knew that that was what I was handeling 🙁

Yep... I've gotta get on the non-science letter thing. The closest I have is still an engineering professor, but she taught a non-science class. That was last semester. A whole year ago, I took a non-sci class, but that's quite a while.

Also, I forgot to add, the microbes you were with in undergraduate micro lab are (almost always) de-pathogenicitized (I made that word up). In other words, their pathogenic properties are genetically altered or removed and they use non-resistant strains.
