not a huge fan of the OC or the "culture" here (or maybe it was just at uci lol). Not a huge fan of the med school either especially after interviewing there. I guess after doing undergrad here im just looking for a change. Im not sure why i even did undergrad here lol. I kinda just threw some darts at a board and ended up at uci:laugh:

yeah i feel you. my friend that goes there is pretty content though

ive never had problems with OC, but then again, i also havent lived there for 4 years


have you decided on a medschool btw?

The OC bites. I tried to sell my house forever, and finally gave up. Otherwise I would have gotten out of here long ago.
 
btw Yoga, tried the technique yesterday/today and it only helped like 5% during my games today....still gotta work on it i guess
 
i will im going to keep it up for another week. i think i just need to adjust

Just a reminder, my kid is adorable. She is so freakin' sweet she kills me. She's learning polite things like "Thank you" and "You're welcome" and "Bless you." 😍

Haha, I thought of that too! This was the train of thought:

I'm hungry.
I should go get food. Do I have food in the house? Not really.
I should go to Costco. They have free samples there.
If I go to Costco, I need to get up.
Also, I need to take a shower.
But if I take a shower before working out, I'll have to take another one after working out.
Its already 2pm. I don't want to think about taking two more showers today. Showers involve standing up.
But I really am hungry.
I wonder if there is a way I can get up, get food, and work out, without showering.
Somehow I don't think that is going to happen.
Maybe if I stay here, food will magically appear. Probably not.
My dog looks like she wants to go for a run.
I can't go for a run unless I eat food.
I'm hungry.

haha god rhino you cheap bastard (i do the same thing but w/e)!:meanie:. Costco is seriously so awesome, when i was single costco helped me not have to eat like pbnj everyday since i lack any ability to cook

:laugh: I'm not ashamed to admit I do that... their samples are awesome! My cooking abilities are limited to various types of pasta and bbq... which is definitely workable. My gf is a vegetarian so unless I want to eat that every night I plan to take full advantage of costco's freezer section 👍

Edit: their hot dogs and pizza are huge and like ~$2 (the ones they sell out front)... which is awesome too!

Hahaha...I can only imagine why you're asking....😉, no, actually🙂 I was going to mirror the room when I built it 2 years ago, but I thought, no, I'll be moving soon, I don't want to spend the 1500 bucks it is going to take.

Now I wish I had.

I don't really need the mirrors for myself, and my private clients have me, so its fine. But mirrors will be SO nice when I finally move.

gl! They suck but it gets better. Interviews were actually kinda fun for me (except a few where a majority of the peeps interviewing were antisocial and scary.) Thats the one thing that can be good or bad about the interview day. You spend a large amount of time (at most schools) chillin in a room with 10 others or so. So it can be a good time to meet some new people, or a whole new level of awkward that you never thought possible. Thankfully the latter only happened at one school for me, it was odd.

not yet. Ive withdrawn all my acceptances and am down to one school, but im holding out for one more WL desperately. But if it doesnt work out oh well im in med school and fairly content. Though im on the wl at what was my number one choice before applying...so its kinda nervewracking.

I'm interested to see how Game 2 plays out. I'd like to see 7 games out of this series, can't say who I'm going for though.

Since Elijah went MIA I'll answer for him... he got into another Cali school I'd like to go to. UCSD is my first choice but I'm not foolish enough to put all my eggs in 1 basket. Besides UCSDs stats are as high as anywhere in the country... I've got a low 30's MCAT, 3.99 sGPA, 3.8 cGPA and I was told by someone in admissions that based on their screening I won't get an "automatic" secondary... although they do review applicants more closely and send secondaries to about 1000 more applicants and he said that he thinks I will get one of those.
