I seriously blew through that book in about 36 hours. I picked it up at midnight and read it pretty much non-stop. I'm not even sure if I slept that first night.

Sharp canines are hot; being a vampire, esp. one that sparkles = not so much.

Feet can be hot but never really pretty.

I've only gotten 1 secondary. Apparently I applied to all of the schools with disorganized admissions departments...?

Also I want a wider variety of smilies to be available. Another forum I post on has one smiley humping another. That one comes in handy surprisingly often

I've only gotten 4 secondary request emails out of 20 schools so far. Well 19, since OSU may not count. I'll call today but I'm trying to figure out how I want to word things. "Is your anatomy and biochem requirement absolutely necessary?" may not be delicate enough... schools like you to be a kiss ass... (I know this literally for a fact, at least with my state school)

My school is so lame that the dean of admissions, when they were discussing changing the prereq's to pretty much the same thing, told me, essentially "who cares? F. off." when I explained to him how those prereq's were going to make it hard for any non-biochem major to apply.

The most ridiculous thing is that one school will state it is undesirable for you to take classes in undergrad that you will have in medical school, then another one (like OSU) will require you take the class. Requiring anatomy is pretty ridiculous b/c it is purely memorization anyway, really not challenging enough to take it twice.

Edit: I just e-mailed them to see if a combined A & P class wil count for anatomy, and if 1 quarter of metabolic biochem is enough. I'll probably not take another quarter of structural biochem if they say it isn't, and just not apply.

Yep, that's what annoyed me about my school. I was at one of their "preview" days and they said "almost nobody gets in here without taking ANP" (it's an unwritten/unofficial preqreq I guess). I thought "wow, you're lame, almost every other school I've talked to has said not to take AnP."

The above combined with the mostly liquid diet is making me want to cry🙁

Edit: To get an A in the class, I need a 90% on the test tomorrow and the final.

To get a B, I need a 70% on the final and I don't even have to show up tomorrow.

I got a D in OChem I and raised it to a B, then got an A in OChem II - take that Professor Crazy Hard Test! Oh, I also got C's in Physics I and II. 😳 I really suck at math and our tests consisted of 4 questions. Doesn't leave much room for error. A's in my labs though 😀
