If you have a Smith's or subsidiary/sister of Smith's grocery stores nearby, they probably make 'em too =)oh, you had my hopes up for something i hadn't heard of. treat yourself haha
wasn't bleargh signature this quote but in reference to the mcat, haha. so applicable to a pre-medAnd because cliff dropped the ball =P
Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering. Application cycles lead to fear and the dark side."
Yes, empirically tested to be 10x more delicious than generic or regular cinnamon rolls and 15x more delicious than cinnabon.
It's only for special occasions; I don't want it to lose its effect.haha, finally someone else got nabbed with the vagina post card. always a good laugh rhino.
The grocery store =) I've rolled up at like 2AM to buy a gallon of milk and cinnamon rolls before 😎
not if you go to the store and pop open a can of pilsbury goodness!hmm. Gourmet at a grocery store? I'm skeptical. But now I want cinnamon rolls. And they take too long to make because the dough has to rise.

I think we need to do some rigorous research on this matter. And we need to collect A LOT of data points...
And the peer review process should be extra thorough. Everyone should be able to replicate your results.
It's a hard job, but someone's gotta do it.

Random Question: How are you guys bringing your suits on the plane for interviews so that they don't get wrinkled? Are you carrying them on a hanger? Folding them? 😕

I know one trick. If you carry it in the suitcase, you can always hang it in the bathroom of your hotel room, turn the shower on (really hot) and let the steam build up with the door closed. If you keep it there for 15 minutes, it will look pretty good... (do not hang it on the shower head though!! 😀 )
Otherwise, just carry it on a hanger. By the way, are you taking more than one suit?...

There's some tricks out there to folding a suit. I'm still undecided on this, whether to fold or investing in a garment bag (try to find an inexpensive one but taking a peak at google now is scary of the prices) or getting one of those like hanger bag things.
Whichever method you use: immediately take it out and hang it up when you get to the hotel. Inspect for any wrinkles, so you can deal with them the day/night before.
What is the difference between a garment bag and a hanger bag?
p.s. I'd be scared to fold my suit.
I think I might go with this (~$100) and some downey wrinkle releasing spray (just in case).

I don't know the name for it. But I've seen those covers that zip up around a hanger... I didn't even know the name for a garment bag until recently.
Downy wrinkle spray is ridiculous! So money.
I got passed over for a Creighton interview today. It's like last year's application cycle all over again. Very depressing... 🙁

Ok, I haven't read all of tonights nonsense yet because I am at the hospital tonight, but I would just like to say that Rhino, my vagina DOES in fact hurt today and I am offended by the implication 😉
Edit: also, Hi Book!!

isn't that usually the result of a good thing?Ok, I haven't read all of tonights nonsense yet because I am at the hospital tonight, but I would just like to say that Rhino, my vagina DOES in fact hurt today and I am offended by the implication 😉

Funny you mentioned the mdapplicants site. If I recall correctly, this whole thing started when I ruffled some feathers by asking someone why he had an MDAPPLICANTS ID in his profile when it was actually not set up..or deleted. I was curious about that. What was the idea? To have people intentionally click on the link to be led to an ERROR PAGE?...All very benign, but I guess we never know about other people sensitivities...
as i recall it depression leads to anger...
Considering what you do in the hospital, I'm guessing that is a common symptom in your department.
Well, you see...sarcasm gets easily lost without body language and voice tone... If that was the intention, I totally missed it...😀
My first rejection!!!!!!!!!!! wooo.

Oh, and my stats, so I don't offend anyone 🙂:

I actually dreamed last night that I got an email from Pitt inviting me to interview. I didn't even apply there. And then I get rejected from BU in reality. haha..kind of hilarious.
Oookkkk, now I am concerned. You see, I am interested about the whole medical application process, about where we all stand, about which schools are giving interviews or not, about which schools are sending secondaries or not.... That helps me know what to expect and contrary to what you have said of me, I have shared here and in multiple threads what is going on with my application, which unfortunately is not much because my LORs have not been sent out yet.
Now, I respect everyone's needs to talk about their daily lives with a bunch of anonymous internet ghosts and I have never criticized anyone for doing that, no matter how trivial and superficial I have thought it was. But, I don't have that need, and I do not know why you had to go out of your way and "sum up" the troops to harass me.
That is the point. I am here because this is SDN, not facebook, nor myspace nor another social network.
But, let's put it behind us and move on.
Listen, I do not have anything against you either, but this is not high school where you tell others not to sit at your lunch table. If I do not want to join in the trivial conversation I do not have to, and if i ask a question that everyone sitting at the table does not feel comfortable answering, a polite "...i want to keep my privacy.." is enough. But in either case, I am sitting in this table, LMAO.
BTW, I really find that talking trivia is not very "contributing" either, so you should stop saying that.
Well, thank you for clarifying this. Apparently, I missed the section where the purpose and intention of this thread was defined by some. I assumed that it was a thread for anyone who was going to be part of the "Class of 2015", to talk or ask about whatever, and I guess by assuming I really made an ass of myself.
You sound like a nerd. Some people remove profiles. Get over it.Funny you mentioned the mdapplicants site. Perhaps HE could move on if we ALL moved on?

People.com has a article out regarding lil josie duggar (the 19th wee one of the Duggar clan that arrived a wee bit early). Anyway, they say that preeclampsia is a rare condition in pregnant ladies. Dude. I thought preeclampsia was the most common complication during pregnancy. huh.
nobody else thinks lambchop is a lil creepy?lambchop...i basically remember nothing about that show except for that song, and that the puppet's name was lambchop. I watched it like every day when I was three
like everyone I seem to know...That said, it's also a LOT more common to develop pre-e in your last two months or so.
I see.Josie was born at 25 weeks. Maybe they just mean it's rare to develop pre-e severe enough to warrant a premature delivery that early, which it is.
if she loved her living kids enough, she'd actually do this. They need to stop having kids...that could potentially kill her.
