i don't diss SDN, but I also don't leap out of my chair to volunteer that i'm an active contributor.

SDN has such a bad reputation that most people would probably deny any affiliation with this site even if they're active posters

this is sort of true. interview feedback is okay to acknowledge awareness of, but talk of the boards/ssd's earns you looooooks. (i have neither received nor given such looks, just observed this interaction time and time again)

At my interview I met one person I know from SDN. I don't see why anyone would have an issue with this site...It is what you make of it, just like anything else.

SDN has come up at some of my interviews, mainly when we are just sitting around before a session or waiting for interviewers. Everybody seems to back away from any affiliation like it's some sort of dead fish.

I normally just keep my mouth shut though.

yep, again +1. i don't mind acknowledging it in a positive fashion, but i usually stick to keeping mum. or giggling with fellow interviewees about our opinions about certain posts on interview feedback and how they may or may not at all coincide with our actual experience.
