I didn't know vegetarians got food poisoning. did you have some bad eggs or cheese or something? I did know it's possible to puke through your nose. Thanks for that awesome visual at lunchtime. I kid, I have an iron clad stomach built like a trash compactor. and on that note i'm gonna get me some eats. drink some water / gatorade, and eat a banana if you can. iirc hypokalemia is a common side effect of emesis and diarrhea....

🙂 No sarcasm right now. I'm married, graduated within the last year, applying for the first time now. I consider myself to be a fairly traditional applicant since I'm <25 but I dunno😕
And my wife is the one who is pregnant😉

And no, we are not engaged yet...I think he plans to propose this weekend (I am not sure though - he is being very secretive :laugh:). Okay here is the story. He proposed about four years ago, we were engaged for a year, then we separated for a year (I would just say that I've always had commitment issues 😳). Then we got back together and now he wants to get me a new ring and do the whole proposal again (I do have my old ring, but don't wear it).

It's kind of like this: new ring, new beginning - and this time we are both more mature, and he wants to do things right. So, I think I am ready (as ready as I will ever be), and that's why I am so excited 🙂

Savor and enjoy the day. When I went with my bf, cupcakes and champagne got brought out. it was pretty awesome, but I was too frazzled to accept anything. I wish I had. 🙂

I was like, "Really?? What kind of ring, engagement ring??" He said, "Yes" I was like: "Are you going to propose?" He said, "Yes" I jumped out of bed and kissed him saying, "This is so exciting" He goes, "I know, I can't wait" and proceeded to tell me how much he loves me, and that he wants me to pick out the ring, so that he can't go wrong, etc.. It was very sweet 😍

lol no. He took me ring shopping before proposing. I told him I wasn't going to accept a proposal until I started medical school so he should wait a while. But we both know where this is headed and are happy about it. Everyone does things in their own time. 🙂

The day before Christmas my hubby went shopping and picked out three rings he really liked, then he asked to pick out the three I liked best (which happened to be the ones that he liked, crazy!) Then we left, so I didn't think he bought anything yet. We went to his parents house for xmas and we had agreed not to get gifts for each other, but he hands me this huge box. I was thinking, ok this is weird. I opened it up and there is a little jewelry box in it, but I was thinking it was something else. When I opened up the box he knelt down and asked me to marry him. 🙂

Oh, okay :laugh: Yes, I completely understand you. I at least wanted to wait until I know I was accepted and will be going to medical school. So, the timing is perfect 🙂
