tea ftw now...mmmm flavonoids and antioxidants!

Oolong amirite?

Although as a Southerner, I do appreciate some sweet tea every now and then ... and by every now and then, I mean 2 or 3 cups every hour.

Wimp. Half the fun in drinking coffee is guessing whether the next sip will give your tongue 3rd degree burns.

I got bad burns on my tongue from some microwaved food once. The skin turned gray/white with holes where all the taste buds had been. It looked like a dead sponge. It eventually peeled off, which was also nasty.

that sounds HORRIBLY traumatic. my baby brother burned his hands on a microwave bowl when he was 6 or 7 or so. burned them so badly he got huge blisters on his fingers. it wasn't even me and i still remember freaking out over it for him 🙁

It was around Halloween in the 7th grade that this happened to me. I though it was great after the pain stopped, because on Halloween, I was able to freak people out by sticking me tongue out at them, which by that time was peeling in patches and looked extra bad.

And according to wikipedia, she made 45 million last year.

Question: CoA for a school like UCSF is 240k for four years. The average loan amount for graduates who took out loans is ~105k. Why the difference? Parent contribution? Scholarships? Inflated CoA? Could the average person expect to take out 105k?

I have a feeling it's a mix of parent contribution and scholarships. and yeah, i know people who came out of ug with 100k in loans and then even more loans after grad school, so i think it's definitely a possibility.

Just got all my grades back for this semester..Two A's, and A-, a B+......and a C! Still good enough for me to pass the class and graduate with the major, but how do you all think this will affect me? Note I've already been accepted to a favorite school of mine..

If you've already been accepted, it won't affect you at all. It really won't even affect you at schools you haven't been accepted to yet provided you don't offer up the information 🙂

Thanks for the reassurance - I knew I wasn't going to get a good grade (but a C!?), the entire class was based off one 25 page paper where I had to do humanities research (so much harder than scientific research)

I agree! Those classes always seem to have really subjective grading also 👎

Anyways, can't change it now - just gotta get caught up on American Horror Story before the finale tonight
