sadly, I have a ton of stuff to do that I have (obviously, ha) been procrastinating on. I must choose between playing soccer for four hours a day or being on SDN for the remainder of my summer.....

COF2016, I bid you adieu for a couple weeks. I hope everyone parties extremely hard during orientation week. Party like you're dying. You might as well be, deuces!

Also--I heard from a berd that a coolio SDN article is coming out sooon.

Dunkin is amaziiiiiiiiing. I miss it, there aren't any in my area at all.

Good morning all! Today was the first day that I didn't have to wait creepily outside my building waiting for someone to let me in. It was awesome.
 
I'm incredibly disappointed that no one heretofore has pointed out that we are on page # 1337
 
Must get in on page 1337.

I actually have to come down to the dunkin donuts since my apartment is about half a block away. So no free internet in my apartment.

However, of course, like any good student, I first tried to see if I could (temporarily) get onto any of the surrounding wireless networks...and found one named "MDMPHMSBSLPN" LOL

Also...I start orientation tomorrow morning!!!
 
Hey folks, how's everyone doing. We took a paper MCAT test today. Holy crap it was long. 100 min science sections with 77 questions and an 85 min verbal with like 60 questions. :scared:

Wow that sounds terrible :\. Why did you take a paper MCAT in the first place?

Kaplan encouraged me to apply for an MCAT prep teaching job with them, but I quickly lost interest when they told me I'd have to cover all the subjects. 🙁 In a recruitment email, I read that Princeton Review allows you to do single subject teaching (I'd do bio only), but all of their locations were ridiculously far from me.

Yeah getting the physics down was tough at first but it made me a better teacher to come from a place where it was foreign to me and learn to explain it start to finish (because in all honesty, mcat physics is basic stuff) rather than come in as an expert and talk over my students' heads.

Wouldn't you know it, medical school nickels and dimes you to death with all the required materials for incoming students. I had a robust selection of PURPLE panties, but noooooooo, they're not "standard."
