Although I will eventually need to find a way to get my car from California to the east coast. I don't know how that will work.

My friends had it shipped, there are companies that do cars specifically. I remember talking to my friends about it last year and it ends up being cheaper or about the same as driving yourself, except you save time yourself plus there is less wear on your car.

I'm shipping the TV and the computer. Everything else is flying with me on Southwest. Two suitcases and a carry-on per person, and I'm bringing 5 people with me to help me get settled and explore 😎

Yeah, I think this is what I'll have to do. I don't know how long I'll make it without a car, especially in the area I'll be in. It saves a ton of money not to have it, though.

will each of those 5 people be bringing two suitcases and a carry on of your stuff? That sounds like a great way of not having to pay to ship stuff

Well, 5 people including me. I'm limiting them to the carry-ons for their own stuff, and I get the suitcases :meanie:

My mom is a big fan of sunbathing. I showed her this picture a few weeks ago, and now she has been slathering on the sunblock whenever she goes outside for extended periods. Mission accomplished.
 
Just saw the Moh's surgery video. They took a fairly substantial amount of tissue out during that surgery. Surely, there's got to be procedures where that much tissue isn't excised right?

I'll have to go into Derm to figure it out I suppose 🙂

i had to do this for college. i didnt drive my car out until senior year. i had a $35 bike to get me around until then.

drive it yourself or ship it. i paid for a friend's one way ticket out to where i lived, and he drove my car back with me. we had a pretty nutty roadtrip.

tdd describes the benefits of shipping well. but as i understand it, it's several hundred dollars and even more per distance traveled...i'd bet for nads it'd be closer to 1k. a road trip is MUCH cheaper.
