you guys will be second years when I'm interviewing, I expect all of you to offer your places to me when I interview there. Since I'm gonna be interviewing at ALL THE SCHOOLS!!!

They are! Mine is the one of the first to extend... I was just not expecting it to be so soon, haha. Feels like just yesterday that I was sweating my butt off in a pantsuit in 95 degree weather....

I seriously will, I let people interviewing here stay with me five or six times last year. It would be an honor. 😉 plus my school loves you Cali kids.

Will keep that in mind, my school choices this first time around was improperly skewed in Cali. Will definitely not make that mistake again.

Yes, that's when rain is very likely to happen on the east coast. Summers are very rainy/T-stormy in FL. We had a lot of flooding in the Houston area a few weeks ago, too, though we're not east coast. I'm still east coast at heart, though. 🙂

It's a huge month for hurricane activity, too (and September). You don't have to worry about those too much where you are, though. 👍
 
Tsk tsk so sad to see the class of 2017 thread so dead... last post was 9 days ago... I mean, it's Aug. 12 already, well into the cycle. I thought they were supposed to all be freaking out together about how they only have 10 interviews so far:idea:

yeah, we were so active back then. i'd get home from work and I'd have missed like 5-6 pages of stuff. What happened?

lol. Our first exam is this Friday, and here is my class.............😱:scared:🙁😎

The last one there is supposed to be me. We'll see how long that lasts for.

It's all true.

My apt looks gorgeous now after all the cleaning and new furniture assembly. I think I'm going to take pictures for posterity, because lord knows this won't last for long....

I think I'm in a state of denial.. like, nope! This totally isn't my last week in lab, and orientation is deeefinitely not next weekend.

I'm pretty sure I got around a 50% on the diagnostic. One of the answer choices for most of the questions was "I used to know this but forgot." I picked that a lot...haha.

They already sent us our scores back. Nice 'n fast at Baylor! My method of study seems to be working. Now to become more efficient...

Making sure I never fall behind, basically. I preview all lectures the night before, review anatomy multiple times a week (it's totally new to me and takes many reps to sink in (it often involves me flailing about/flexing/extending, poking/imaginary drawing on my arms, hands, shoulder, etc.), review all of the week's lectures on the weekend, and then do a quick refresher of all the stuff from previous weeks.

Seriously. I'm doing the bare minimum of work or socializing right now.... I think I'm still in denial this is really happening.
