Yep! Although I think it was the length of my stay at top was probably due to the fact that I was just so damn far ahead of everyone else that nobody could catch me even when I took an extended hiatus :laugh:

He read mine and gave some suggestions and now it's totally a million times better. He's the man.

I might take you up on that. I just find myself entirely hung-up when it comes to content. At this point my life story isn't worth telling, and I'm afraid any adcom reviewing my essay will be skeptical of the importance that I ascribe to certain recent experiences that, while seemingly very trivial, nonetheless shaped my desire to pursue medicine. My SAV (saved African village) count is just way too low to make for a compelling treatise 🙂 Basically, I'm torn between describing what makes me unique and what makes me want to study medicine, as there's virtually zero overlap between the two

also, i had an awkward conversation today with someone whose father is terminally ill and was curious as to my thoughts on the afterlife. same dilemma as PS: glitz vs truth.

I wish I could come up with some descriptions for my Work/Activities section ... I've literally accomplished nothing for the past 3 hours.

I probably shouldn't look at NickNaylor's app while I'm doing this. That guy went all out.
