I just submitted my app. :scared: Why do I have more anxiety this year than last?





(Maybe my intuition is trying to tell me I'm going to get in this year)
 
I'm eating lunch in the hospital and can see a variegated multiplicity of hospital staffers - docs, nurses, techs, administrators, etc - as well as persons with sundry physical and/or pyschoemotional ailments. When I phrase it like that, does it sound like clinical exposure?

Good morning peeps, how's everyone doing today?

I'm finishing up the putting in of my classes into AMCAS and its making me sad having to put those grades in (being a member of the low GPA club and all). Wishing I didn't have to see those grades again, oh well I'm just going to have to make sure everything else in my app is out of this world amazing.

Finally getting some coffee in as opposed to trying to tough it out til mid-afternoon so I am much, much better. Putting the finishing touches on FIU's secondary.

I'm from NorCal (born and raised), I just work down in SoCal now. I haven't made a trip to the bay in a long time, looks like I got to make plans now.

YAYSSSS! :highfive: Althought the wait can be a bit much sometimes from what I hear. Will report back on Sunday after our girlie brunch time.


La Note is also a fave brunch spot in Berkeley and I hear good things about Brenda's in SF.

Why do I keep imaginging whatyousay as that actor from the hangover? IBwaisis 😛
 
Just had an amazing day at work. Helped the new residents learn various ultrasound techniques, and I even got to be the guinea pig for some of the demonstrations. Plus, I got fed 😎. Safe to say that I have a guaranteed residency spot if I ever want to go into EM.

IKNORITE?! When I was a student at SFSU I used to study at the UCSF library.. soooooooooooo nice. Really, I have yet to come across a library as nice as that. UW Madison comes close, but you can't beat the view of the GG bridge (on the rare day when it's sunny).

I was under the impression that you're not complete until they receive everything, including LOR.

It's also a marathon, not a sprint. 😉

If it's someone I just met I might be thrown off, but pretty much anythings fair game once you get to know me. I recall a couple of faculty members making oriental comments at a research institution in Dallas that turned me off their program.

I mean between my time on the various Internet car forums, I'm well-equipped to handle me some political incorrectness. :laugh:

If you defeated the MCAT, you can defeat the secondaries! Just chill out, listen to some good music, and write from the heart.

Just write anything that comes to mind. You can always go back and edit it later. Spend some time looking at each school and see if anything looks good to you.
 
noob question, which i'm sure has been answered a million times over, but you guys are a more amusing resource: roughly how much does primary app submission cost per school? i'm narrowing down my list prior to designating schools on my app, and i don't want to be unpleasantly surprised.
 
I went on a bike ride but got tired and hot so now I'm posting from my phone on the side of the trail. I shod really win a wannabe gunner award.
