serving is hard stuff. i learned you dont always have to serve the normal way. it just adds more power and makes for harder returns

We were encouraged to serve the normal way, and the coaches were watching like hawks. That shiz is hard--takes a hell of a lot more practice than a week at tennis camp, I can tell you that much.
 
I've never played tennis, but it looks like fun. and hard work!

Ouch .definitely more than a week. I spent a whole summer break learning how to serve. from 9-2 every day. Even then it was still hit or miss.

Exactly. I worked on it for what seemed like forever, and then stopped for a few months and lost it, had to rework it all over again. I'd be surprised if I could even hit the ball now, considering how long it's been since I've ventured to pick up a racket. 😳

Pretty much me in college. Spent my spare time one summer break getting serving back. Hitting the wall for hours too. Its so much fun to hit a wall...:laugh:
