Honestly... I think I've mentioned this before... some of my family members are in medicine.

I had a convo with a former adcom recently at a major top 20 school... they were actually quite a bit intoxicated. They were cussing up a storm... it was hilarious.

But I must say... doing shots with this woman was intense... she can really drink...

So in reality... doctors are real people too. They drink, they party, THEY EVEN SAY TWSS!!!!!!!

They love it.

Funny... but I am not THAT hideous looking. And I am smart too! According to some dumb IQ test, or like 8 different ones that I took.

I ended up being part of a cool study... IQ before chemo, and IQ after chemo.

I was a 136 before chemo... I'm a 141 now!

Chemo made me smart?? However... I think it may have been the paraneoplastic syndrome setting in... according to my consult with Dr. Gregory House at Princeton Plainsboro.

It's true. House is never wrong. (Excluding the first 45 minutes of the episode, when he makes them test for lupus, sarcoidosis, and/or cancer).

First, I haven't eaten pop rocks. Second, I haven't seen a full James Bond movie. What is wrong with me???

For the record, the latter is because I have this weird problem with seeing every single movie in a series. So I'd have to start with Sean Connery, then work my way up through 4 decades of 007s just to get to PB and DC. Too much work...

It's okay, in recent pop culture, I haven't seen/read any of the Twilight stuff 👍

You should watch the JB stuff....really good, and not just cuz of PB eye candy 😛

No, I've had JB exposure, just not the ability to sit down and watch the entire movie without interruption. Flipping through channels hardly does it justice, and my worst experience was trying to watch it on a charter bus. I just gave up and read a book.

I've seen HP, Twilight (not by choice), Star Wars, and Lord of the Rings. I'm doing well in nerd world, for the most part. :laugh:

I haven't either. I tried, but I fell asleep (not because of the movie, just because I was ridiculously tired at the time).

I have eaten many Pop Rocks in my day.

I have an excuse for my insomnia... bookfreak read back a few pages to my incident with the PO-LEECE!!!!

Them power tripping po po's SUCK!

Plus, I've decided to apply to a few Canadian medical schools. So I'm sifting through that application.

The tuition is so cheap up there... plus... I love Montreal. Even as an international student it's cheaper than most schools down here.

If you go to med school in Canada, it will be difficult to match back into the U.S. if you decided that you wanted to practice here.
