That what its like in my bedroom in college. I have a drum set, a piano, a stack of amps, bunches of cables and mics and speakers all over. Theres no room for a bed:laugh:

engineering is only part of the reason my GPA is lower than it should be :laugh:

I used to play the clarinet. I miss it now. 🙁

Maybe I'll pick it up again before med school starts. :shrug:

Hey, if you had fun then it wasn't a total waste 🙂. Do you have a minor in music? Or was all of that just for personal enjoyment?

Started off as a double major. Midway through sophomore year i noticed it would take me 5 years to graduate with premed stuff so i was like eff that so dropped down to minor and finished it. Then i opened up a recording studio with a friend just last year and made some money that way. Mostly fun.

All of my EC's and Leisures in TMDAS dealt with music. One of my interviewers was like "So i see you like music..."

👍 The only thing I liked more about TMDSAS than AMCAS was that you weren't limited to 15 activities. I'm surprised more interviewers didn't bring up your music experience; how many people get the opportunity to open up a recording studio?!?!

So jealous. I've always wanted to play guitar and piano and violin. I can play flute though! 😛

TMDSAS was way more friendly. I can't remember an advisor for all the music EC's i did. So i couldnt list them all

Oh yeah, that's a good point. I was just really annoyed with mailing in a check instead of using credit card. And I wanted more characters to describe my activities. And sometimes when I saved the application it would freeze up and I'd have to type in my info all over again. But it's okay, it cost me less to apply to all the TX schools than it did to apply to 1 AMCAS school.
