Class of 2016!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
One thing about engineering that I feel like will probably hurt me in the future is the newfound belief that I can BS my way through any problem.

if using science to bs is wrong i dont want to know whats right

When I took physio, I was struck by the fact that math wouldn't be able to save me from wrong answers.

i just related every cardiac quesiton back to Frank Starling and every neuro quesiton to acetyl-Choline

Sigh.

I hate EE circuit stuff ... and all we end up talking about in physio is modeling the heart as a circuit.

So many flaws with several WindKessel model i cant even begin. I had to write a 10 page paper in my vascular fluids class about it.

It's always lupus.

And yes, frank starling's the man.

And Ach + Dopamine is the answer!

Up veinus return, up cardiac output. wooo increase contractility wooo. Now lets do it using thermodynamic phase planes and stress and strain!

This was my cardiac mechanics class. It was a first year med school cardio phsyio course that had engineering pumped into it FML

That was actually my in-class response when the prof started talking about the Weiner theorem.
