Waiting while my poster prints. I think the final copy will signify that this HELL of a summer research project is FINALLY over. Another professor here said with all our hardwork, we're definitely shining stars 😍
 
Haven't had any coffee today. I'll probably head over to SB for a peppermint mocha after lunch 🙂
 
I just got back from a tea store. Can't wait to try my new teas!
 
Had an old friend over yesterday for dinner. My mom made us Indian food. Her and I had a lot of misunderstandings, so we had a long talk and we were able to clear things up. Chatted until 11pm!

She also knows dartmouth guy pretty well. He's a social weirdo 😡

I'm still nervous but luckily KU is one of the schools that gives early decision interviewees an automatic regular decision interview invite if the applicant isn't accepted. So I am very fortunate either way 🙂

There was a slight chance that we were supposed to hear back today. But it's guaranteed by close of business next Friday due to 1) AAMC requirements and 2) the fact that I doubt they will want to stay after business hours on a Friday afternoon.

Thanks man! And it's cool as long as you don't quit SDN for life. I have a couple of semi-tough choices that I need to consider if I am fortunate enough to be accepted. I'll likely get some input from you guys (2016'ers) if this is the case. But until then, I am taking things one day at a time.

Yeaaaaaaaah, when I say I'm gonna quit SDN for a bit, I mean well... until I'm off my "omg I got into med skewl" bender. Probably 2-4 days, depending. :laugh:
