whoever posted doug earlier, here's a throwback for you...

lol ok 👍
omgwtf I didnt even realize we were so close to 53000 😡
Lol, okay I do admit that I am a little jelly about top, but it was a fair play - good job 👍
😆this makes me laugh almost as much as nyancat. docbrill, your inner gunner is hilarious. 😍
Ideally, I would like to have both top and bottom 😳
trolololol oh man.it's an online forum, nbd
you are going to be a sight to behold in med school, m'dear.
headed out, peace out cub scouts
Oh no, I am not that competitive at school - in fact I love helping my peers and it makes me happy when they do well 🙂 I am mostly competitive with myself...
That's why I wish VCU had a P/F grading system 🙁
Could be worse. The school that I'll likely be attending reports all grades as % (that's literally what shows up on transcripts).![]()

Personally, I think all med schools should have a P/F for the first two years.
I've experienced M1 ABCDF grading, and I'd never attend a school that wasn't at least H/P/F at most.
Really? It's that bad? You are scaring me now.

It's just a little more stress that's not necessary imo. Different strokes for different folks, but I'm very happy my chosen school is p/f as one of the many pro's to consider.
yeah, admittedly it's not fun. still, people do what they gotta do. you'd pick M1 ABCDF grading over no med school at all, right? 🙂
No question, but I feel terrible for the people who only get accepted to a school(s) like that and have no choice.
The LCME should require those schools to keep things like this on hand for the added stress relief that is needed:
Someone messed up our tops again 🙁
aw noooo seriously db, vcu is one of the last places i would be scared about attending. the resident i work with who graduated from there was a total sweetheart. people in his year are from top 10 schools. he holds his own, but isn't a gunner at all. I feel like his stories combined with the anecdotal evidence from my friend who's a current student portray vcu as a really down-to-earth, supportive school.
Out of curiosity, why was it your top choice going into this process?
hmm, i don't see any deleted posts in the last 5 or so pages... I blame whatyousay.
