I have an unhealthy (literally) obsession with spinach dip. I'm currently nomming on a tub my mom got from Costco. At least it's the light version? :shrug:

Speaking of Costco, I got myself a pizza and hotdog combo as well as helped my self to ample samples of carne asada. Delicious and more importantly, cheap.

In my hometown, we hung out at Walmart because it was the only place open after 10pm that a under 21 year old person could go to.

interestingly enough, I've never really seen those types of people at any of the walmarts I've been into.

and since flights no longer feed you (seriously, I'm gonna fly 6+ hours and I'm only gonna get a soda? you want me to pay $3.00 for some freakin peanuts?) You're so hungry after the flight that you have no choice put to spend $10 on a meal that would normally be half that.

Today, I was offered free peanuts on my flight, I was flabbergasted. Then the stewardess gave me the bag of nuts. Literally, I counted 12 halved nuts. They gave me 6 peanuts!

What, are they TRYING to slap me in the face?!?
 
I used to love flying as a kid, getting the window seat, getting pretty good meals for those long flights, that weird feeling you get in your stomach when the plane moves. Man flying was so fun then, now its sitting in a cramped seat, no food unless you pay the $8.00 for what is essentially a kids meal, being charged crazy amounts for luggage, and just overall suckiness.

haha, for sure.

I noticed something today. When the flight ends and people deplane, I thought it was common courtesy to let every row infront of you get up and get their overhead stuff before the rows behind did? I guess I can understand if you have a connection to get to, but on my second flight there were no more flights leaving after mine.

It seems super dickish when people immediately jump up and take off down the isles.... wait your turn *******s. Maybe I am just imagining this rule.

I'm moving in just a little over 2 weeks. I'm packing my CDs and thinking about how useless they are now, but I don't know what to do with them other than pack 'em. I can't just throw them out...they're perfectly good. I probably have at least 800.

I still use CDs when I drive, since I don't have a dedicated mp3 player and using my phone as one sucks all the life out the battery.

My stereo has a USB port for mp3 players. Since I got that in '09, I haven't really used any of my CDs.

Also, having gone through the whole collection while packing, I'm unfortunately remembering some of the terrible crap I used to listen to.

I'm also curious. It's my understanding that the closest thing that the east coast has to in and out is five guys and that in and out totally blows five guys (haha) out of the water.

This is terribly, terribly false. Five Guys is outstanding and if it wasn't so damn expensive I'd go there a lot more.

And there happens to be Five Guys restaurants in Cali now.

In and out and five guys are different types of burgers IMO. I wouldn't directly compare them

I love In and out but I can also be in the mood for a pick-your-own-ridiculous-toppings-combo adventure at five guys with some fries with cajun seasoning

Negative. For the prices that Five Guys charge out here (California), I'd expect to have a waitress and my drinks refilled.

In N Out...that's what our hamburgers are about!

IN n Out > Five guys (1 cup)

this makes me sad for you. they should give "food" vouchers instead of "money" vouchers then. like, "you can get a $5 dollar sandwich that costs $15 here for free!"

you are not imagining anything. that seems super rude to me and i would totally judge those bias for storming the aisle.

i don't mind mickey d's, but i just take issue with the statement that mcdo > in n out. it does not compute with me.
