You'll be fine! Last year transcripts for students didnt even start showing up till the 14th or so and many recieved emails from schools end of August/early September.

Haha I got my first one a couple days ago from university Alabama Binghamton MD/PhD program. Haha, I am not hanging around in med school for a day longer than four years!! Nice try Alabama, nice try.

All I got was the 11month master program at Tuoro in Nevada for their DO school, and an email from the director of Osteopathic something or other encouraging me to apply to DO schools. Why none from Pod schools, thats all I care about?!
 
my pod asked me how she should sign the letter since she went to Kent when it was known as OCPM we both think it should be OCPM but since its going to a few schools what do you think ?

OCPM- she isn't Kent alumni.

Side note- I received an email from DMU saying they have all my letters of recommendation today.

Although their website says something like "it is strongly recommended you have the letters of rec in by time of interview." So... I've got some time. haha

You can [and should] submit your LoRs before your application. As long as DMU gets a committee/professor letter and one from a DPM, they'll probably send a confirmation email.

I put my number/email on the letter thanking the schools for consideration that I placed with the letters of recommendation. (I talked about that letter earlier on in this thread I believe.)

Im applying to all including Barry and NYCPM. Barry has some state of the art research facilities and opportunities as well as international missions programs that I find very interesting. Also I hear the weather in FLA is lovely 😍
 
I'm from fl. The weather is amazing. I would joke with my friends that I was actually cold blooded, I love being baked by the sun. Waves are usually small in south Florida, but so are the sharks 🙂
 
My school has a fund for applying to graduate school and they will pay the fee for up to 3 schools if they are on a list.

I emailed my career services to verify which podiatry schools I wanted to apply to were on the list. This was last week. I never got a response. I really want to send them a scathing email telling them that at the very least they could have just told me they didn't want to verify the information for me. In the email, I told them that I would wait for their verification before I submitted my app. I mean, I didn't wait, because I submitted a couple of days ago and I got sick of waiting for them. Why can't people just respond to my emails! Also, I left a message on someone from the business office at my school regarding a loan error on their part. No response. Why am I paying my school thousands of dollars for them not to just ping me back? All I want is someone to acknowledge that they got my email/message. Is that so difficult!?

AACPMAS got all my transcripts in today and my application is considered complete. Is it too early to submit my letters of recommendation? I figured I should wait until the application actually gets sent out to the schools before I should send them the letters but I'm not so sure. I use Interfolio so sending them out is a breeze, I just don't want to send them in too early I guess.

According to the AACPMAS site, they won't send our info until middle of September to schools. I don't think I buy that statement because people were getting interviews early September last year, but perhaps it has changed? Anyways, I would guess the majority of us will start in about one month from now.

I really don't think it will hurt to send them now. Nikkisorous has gotten email confirmations about his LORs at schools, so it can't hurt to send them now! (Well.. if they are actually letters of un-recommendation, then they could hurt, but let's hope none of us has one of those in the pipeline...).

MCAT yesterday and 1/3 of my transcripts are in.....does it normally take the full 30 days for the MCAT scores to come in? It's already killing me...

I can tell you within a six-minute window at what time your scores will come in.

You will get your score September 11th at 3:08 pm EST (+/- 3 minutes)
 
AACPMAS needs to start working weekends 😛 i don't have any stalking to do and i get bored

As far as I presently know, my professors are sending them for me, so those will probably go out this week. I told them I wanted them done by "mid-august." My pod letters went out last week!
 
Does anyone still shadow their pods? I still see mine 15hrs a week and one OR case weekly too. Is that a bit much? They seem to really enjoy my company and haven't said anything in regards to when i'll stop.

i have been shadowing for a few years 😛 and yes its the same 2 pods ( same practice ) and i even do billing every once in a while and answer the phone and deal with new appointments.
