Ugh, same. My brother expects me to be able to hang out with him all the time, and then he gets all insulted when I try to explain I'm busy. 🙄 Funny thing is, he graduated college. English major...

I'm not sure my dad is good with all that stuff and he will get one for me!

I know it sucks and it's all good though, it pays off at the end of the semester when you feel all good 👍

Well I want to get an ipad 2 to take notes on with in class and stuff, and to use it for the cool apps..but I think I'm going to go with the macbook pro. I need something portable..desperately! what do you think?

I also really want the iphone 5..i dont know i feel like i'm overdoing it..

i have the imac at home too.

In addition to click + ctrl = right click, you can just plug in a mouse with a right click and it works just like a windows machine.

I have an Ipad and its nice but other than I book reader I don't really use it as much as I could. I prefer pen and paper for taking notes so maybe that is why. If I were you I would go 13 inch/11 inch macbook air(basically a netbook) and then get an Iphone. That way anything you wanted on the Ipad you can do on the Iphone(and its even more portable) and you have a nice small portable computer to handle the computing 🙂

OK kinda unrelated but since you guys are talking about keyboard shortcuts:

In MCAT, can you use CTRL+F for searching the text??? I feel like this would really help in verbal 😀

I love mac and the keyboard/mouse but I'm hating it right now with my imac! I have to change the batteries almost everyday! They also lose connectivity all the time since they're on the wifi/bluetooth thing.

Have you ever tried using your ipad as a note taker?

Why the air? I mean, i've heard terrible things about it when it came out and the pricing difference between the pro and air isn't that big.


I want the iphone sooo badly 😍

I use my laptop as my main computer, so I'd probably buy a cheap tablet for notes so that I don't have to bring my laptop with all my stuff on it to class and risk loosing it.

I'd probably rec the Macbook Pro since it, to the best of my knowledge, has more processing power and flexibility than the iPad, which should pay out in the long run. But if you feel comfortable taking notes on an iPad, then by all means get that instead.

I'm just using what came with the actual imac.

Hmm, that's the problem. I don't know whether I'd be comfortable using the ipad as a note-taker. I definitely don't want to bulk up, but I guess in the long run, a macpro would be useful.
