Congrats on the second acceptance! Just make the decision that will make you happiest, don't worry about the rents trust me I doubt they will be disappointed.

Tufts and UVA. Ya I have a feeling which school I would pick but there is a confounding issue both of parents wanting me to be close but especially of my girlfriend wanting us to be close to her family, and in an area where she will have job/further school opportunities. I didn't love the schools I withdrew from so as soon as I got on their waitlist I withdrew- wanted to make this as short and as painless a process as possible, and knew I wouldn't go there over UVA anyway.

Are you planning on becoming more serious with your girlfriend? I am assuming yes since she is entering into your equation. One thing to think about is that medical school will only be 4 years. You can always move near her parents for your residency/career. I made a deal with the devil, my wife 😛, and we discussed that after residency/fellowship we will at least be an hour away from her parents. Good luck with the decision and you cannot go wrong with either school.

Haha! Maybe I can strike a similar deal- but i have to make her think it was her idea if you know what I mean. Yes we are planning on taking the next step and have been together almost four years just both of us want to figure out schooling and where we are living first!! Thanks for your good wishes!

Maybe you will get a really good financial offer from one of the schools and it will make the choice easy.

Just a quick suggestion for people looking for a book to read, I'm currently reading "Phantoms in the brain" by V.S. Ramachandran (Link to it HERE ) and I highly recommend it! I'm only on chapter 6 but it's an amazing book so far.

Definitely worth it! It's a one-time purchase, and you get access to all the content. There is a cash shop where you can buy bonuses, buffs, and some costumes, but it's not anything game-breaking. Graphics are amazing, and leveling is not a "grinding" experience at all. You essentially get experience for doing almost anything (crafting, discovering new areas, gathering, etc.).

I have two characters on Maguuma, but they're not that high level because I haven't gotten to play lately. My brother is almost at the level cap, but I suspect there will be a patch to raise that cap soon.
 
Runescape was the only mmo I really got into. Was addicted from 6th to like 11th grade. Sad to see how much it's changed now though.

Eh I don't like Guild Wars 2...the playing style is way too spammy. GW1 was sooooo much better. Also most of the classes are horrible and/or weird.

Maybe I am just mad because after playing Skyrim every game has disappointed me...

I played a lot of WoW in high school(and some college)....sigh.

Did you play Oblivion? I expected so much after Oblivion that Skyrim was sort of a let down for me. I'm thinking I should go back and give it another chance, maybe I'll quit my job a little early before school starts.......

Nah I didn't play Oblivion so maybe that was why I liked Skyrim so much? I am still playing skyrim....

ACIII was bleh. 6 hours in and I was still on the introduction/tutorial storyline. Also all the scripted parts annoyed me. Maybe it will get better when I get to the actual game....if that ever happens.
 
Lets be real though, counter strike source is where its at. Even today in its old age its an amazing game.
