Haha, it's just a glorified class. 2 night classes and we jump halfway through the semester. Can't wait!

My school's awesome though - we have tons of other stuff like Boxing, BBQ science, Yoga, Horseback Riding, Riflery, etc. Even as a senior, I'm still surprised to hear about some of the stuff we offer.

?!? Your school sounds awesome haha. I wish we had those kinds of classes here. I would totally take BBQ science.

How about hearing back about interviews? I'm waiting on about a dozen or so schools for those. Hoping December will be different than Sep/Oct/Nov...🙁

Same. I'm glad I got one acceptance but there are so many silent schools still!
 
Hopefully December will mark the end of the cycle for me. I've withdrawn all my applications from schools that have not offered me an II. There's really only one other school I want to hear back from. After that, it'll be margaritas and shots until the cows come home!
 
Checking in, 2MD acceptances, maybe more soon. Glad to officially be in the class of 2017!

I am trying to figure out where to go this summer. One of my host went to Europe for two week before starting med school and said it was the best decision they ever made. I just need to figure out where I want to go.

I did two weeks in Europe this past summer to celebrate graduation and want to go back again!! I did three days in Paris, three days in Switzerland (highly recommend Grindelwald- amazing hiking and beautiful views), and a little over a week in London. Stayed in hostels the first half, and rented a flat with my friends in London. I know people who went to Europe for a month and after a couple days in one place would just go to the airport and see what the next and cheapest flight was and go there! Anyway, I want to try and plan something similar for this weekend but need to pick three new places. Thinking Croatia?

I'd recommend Holland, particularly Amsterdam, even if you don't enjoy the vices. It's beautiful in Holland.

I'm planning the same thing. I have family in Austria that I can stay with for a week or so, then off to Germany for a week, then a few days in Spain, France, and Holland, and back to Graz to fly back home. I've already spent weeks in London, Dublin, and a day in Belfast, so I'd rather spend my time in the places I mentioned above.

Is there perhaps a better, cheaper place to arrive than Austria? Any ideas?

I tried to get to Holland during my last trip and the timing just didn't work out so I will definitely be adding that to my list!

Haha, that's intense. I usually wake up a little after 8. Except on the mornings I have 8AM class. haha

I'm like, half-nocturnal now. Sometimes I get back from the gym in the early evening, and sleep from like, 5-7 or so because I got myself all tuckered out, and then I'm awake again for a while. I need my cat naps. haha
