Man, I can't wait to just go home and veg. I've been putting off a manuscript for a good 6 months now. I keep telling myself I'll get to work on it tomorrow. Procrastination is a bish.

The Count of Monte Cristo, The Three Musketeers (I am getting a dog in July and calling him Athos), -- I 😍 Dumas!! El Amor en Tiempos de Colera is pretty good too. Once I start a book by Marquez I can't put it down so I have to choose when I start one wisely... another favorite is Persuasion 🙂
 
i hate reading but trying to get into it more. Part of the way into "Total Recall" by Arnold Schwarzenegger

I read the whole thing. It was ok, but NOTHING like Crichton's work. I was disappointed.

If you freeze them, they taste legitimately taste like an ice cream sandwich. :naughty:

One thing though, if you're sensitive to sugar alcohols you might want to be careful - each bar has ~25g of them!

Also upped my deadlift to 5x235 and bench to 5x145. Would have gone for 245 on the deadlift but one of my old calluses ripped and I didn't want to take the chance. Thankfully, no new ones are coming in after I looked up how to properly grip the bar!

Nice. I stopped practing multiple rep deadlifts since I feel like I bounce too much. So ill do like 5 singles and call it a day.

Anyone in here from FL? There is 7 state schools (6 with an instate bias) and I havent heard anything from them, but received II from 6 OOS schools that have much better stats. Trying to understand why?

How are your stats? It might be a case of yield protection if your stats are beyond the FL schools and your application is also otherwise competitive.

Just a theory, maybe the FL schools will be looking at those closer to their numbers since it's more likely they won't be as successful OOS.

id say around 50ish percent for MCAT and 60-70ish percent for GPA.

My only guess is that most schools in FL admit >10 "cubans" according to the MSAR, while schools up north only a few cubans get in. Tbh this cycle so far has been a complete 180 of what I expected it to be.

I got waitlisted at my top choice. Was my first interview and I felt like I didn't do the best. Last year it didnt move but hopefully this year it does
