Class of 2017!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Can you handle working with people who have high school educations, "axe" questions, and "ain't scurred" of the police?

Booooo. I give this hideous display of classism a straight red card. :sendoff:

I love birthdays! Feliz cumpleaños! It should be a rule that you should not go to work on your birthday. :hardy:

Happy birthday, Tots!

My first class (which is at 11AM, mind you..) got canceled! Just one class today at 1PM :naughty:

Happy birthday tots.

Adults with high school educations are not generally going to be the hardest working and most intelligent individuals you've ever met.

I'm just not a fan of generalizations, be they rooted in racism, sexism, ageism, sizeism, classism, ignorance, assumptions etc.
. . .
Bah!

I (obviously) can't prove whether your generalization is more true than false, or vice versa, but that's a pretty unfortunate and unforgiving way to look at it.

I may be soured due to my experiences with my coworkers.

That's fair, we've all been there, but it might be more productive to take direct issue with your coworkers' professional failings (i.e. not the hardest working, not the most intelligent) than to use class-specific descriptors as a proxy for the same.

Okay, lecture over, I'm going to get off my soapbox and head back over to the panic thread where I belong 😛

Thanks! 😳

No. 🙁 I have never been myself...but I have a lot of friends who have gone...(and my parents went twice without me!). SOMEDAY!

I know a friend who got to go. He always brings it up when Disneyland is mentioned.

I have 600 calories worth of rice, chicken, broccoli, and orange for lunch. What's up?

gettin dem carbs in mayne?

edit: unintentional top!

Oatmeal for breakfast and late night snack. Random carbs throughout the day too. Keeping track of what you eat is a lot more time consuming than I thought.

Counting calories is one thing. Making sure you get enough protein/fat/carbs is way harder.

all I do is try to get >200g of protein. Rest I just try to eat in moderation, which doesnt really happen. Ate 17 200cal bags of sour patch kids the other day lol

Happy Birthday Mr. Tots

Also what is club 33

Also there is a super Gunner in my lab and its really awkward since we are interviewing at the same place in two weeks

thankfully we selected different days. But he was super shocked that I was willing to give advice to a mutual friend of ours on practicing.

It seemed to blow his mind that a pre-med would help another pre-med out
