My roommate that suddenly decided to move out is back to pick up her stuff.

This is not pleasant. Her boyfriend has already proceeded to tell at me for taking apart her bed to make it easier to move.

I have three friends and a 40 year old ex marine at the ready if things become worse.

so I may have just had the worst "dream" where I thought my acceptance would be rescinded

defiantly not the best way to stay calm before ones top choice interview

Ouch. That sucks, man. Hopefully everything cooled down?
I... am... so... hungover.
Haha, I feel ya. Hair of the dog anyone?
Feels good to finally be able to post in this thread. Just got accepted today. Class of 2017, son.
Congrats, welcome, and awesome school indeed, sir. 🙂

Yeah, those are the worst. I remain freaked for at least 10 minutes after a dream like that.

I had to go into my email and reread the acceptance letter just to make sure

Now I am cleaning my shoes for tomorrow and may go get some shoe polish

Thought good or bad idea to polish ones shoes

Well, she left but she still has a ton of stuff here and she still has a key.

The boyfriend refused to shake my hand when we made a deal. He said he doesn't shake.

Writer's block.

Give me a list of things that you can use to blackmail someone. Preferably something that you can sneak into their house and steal back/destroy/get rid of.

Anyone else having fun tonight?!

I laughed so hard at that! Thanks man, lol.

Man, why can't people just be cool? One of the things I loathe most is "that guy" at the party always either talking about fighting or actually starting fights. :disgust:

WSU has a new poster for track. I don't think they double checked the photo before printing a thousand of them.

Fail.

Hey all. Joining the ranks of the Class of 2017 now that I got my acceptance (USF SELECT). The last class I was apart of was the Class of 2007 for MPH so it's been a while.

I've been an Army officer for 5+ years, so I will be leaving in a couple months and returning back to the United States simultaneously after a year being Korea.

There should be a 2-3 month gap between starting school and returning to the states so I'm contemplating what to do during the gap. I'm thinking a road trip to visit friends and family and maybe some national parks, leaving about a month for setting up a place and get ready for school.

It's gonna be nice, it's been a while since I've had this much free time (i.e. no employment, school, etc).

Sweet! Congrats on the acceptance! Are you planning on doing the military for funding med school at all? I was just awarded the HPSP through the AF.

Overhead squats: not as easy as planned.

That is all.

Thanks. No, GI Bill will cover a good chunk of it (pretty much all the tuition since I'm a Florida resident and the rest will be some loans or just taking from my savings. It's amazing what a steady job and no dependents can do for your bank account. The Army was definitely good to me. They payed off a good chunk of my student loans (undergrad and grad) and a year in Iraq of doing a lot of saving took care of the rest.

Congrats on the AF, they're the most picky for scholarship from my understanding. They live the good life, lol, better barracks, assignments, facilities, etc. Or so they say. I think in my current job I have more fun in the Army.

Starting to get Facebook friend requests from students in my med school class. It's getting closer you guys!
