But how could I reasonably tell a school that I'll withdraw from other schools if accepted and then subsequently withdraw from them, too?

It is easy if you have no soul 😛

Or you can be on the opposite end of the spectrum and have a difficult time withdrawing from schools you have no intention of attending. I swear every time I withdraw from a school, I am on the verge of tears. What is wrong with me????

Nothing. I know the feel. But I'm more paranoid about something going wrong between 5/15 and the first day of orientation, somehow losing a spot during the interval when you can only have ONE school (e.g., transcript mess-up, enrollment quota mess-up, someone on the committee made a mistake, etc).

Ugh I withdrew one acceptance today and had like a mini-panic attack. I suffer from the "what if?" syndrome.

I think everyone panics when you withdraw from an acceptance. We worked so hard to get accepted, it does not seem right to throw them away.

That's why I'm waiting until the last moment to withdraw. You never know what can happen.

The what if syndrome... Specially if the schools are located in vey different/awesome cities. Congrats on being able to choose!

I am late to the party but... Congrats to Rachk on UW, good luck to iamcanadian!

Also, Irish getting top was kind of cool I LOLed right next to my supervisor. A professional laugh of course. 😛

Currently in Buffalo. The hotel's pool was very small but I did get to do some swimming...

Many members of family agree, that whole TX/North Mexico crowd does not really get the whole vegetarian deal... I now just smile when the waiter says "Oh, are you sick?" Lol

I was a vegetarian on and off through college but it was so hard when all my friends/family ate meat. Hoping to go back to being a vegetarian when I move away from home, and eventually would like to go vegan.
