Eleven more weeks of working a job I've grown to hate because it pays the bills. Eleven. More. Weeks.

On the bright side, realizing how agonizing it is to do something I don't enjoy 40-50 hours a week has made me extremely grateful that I'm pursuing something that I love. Not many people are as fortunate as we are.

Same! I plan to quit around the first week of July, I cannot wait!

And yes we are very fortunate, idk how some people do it day in and day out for years.

+1 I'm even taking 3 weeks off in June 😛 Figured I should just use my vacation days and enjoy my time in the bay! Sadly no big plans though. no money to spare

Nice! By the way, the fact that you got an invite for second look at UCI is awesome! I didn't get one so I'm assuming I'm not high up on the alternate list. If I'm lucky enough to get off it maybe I'll see you there in the fall 👍
 
I'm extending my contract until the first week of July. Hopefully they'll throw me a party. :laugh:

Guys....we're going to medical school!!! All of our hard work paid off!! :soexcited:

But agreed about not doing anything exciting for vacation; no money. 👎
