I think 10-7 is the perfect shift. You can sleep in (which I adore) and get off right after traffic dies down.

But then what do you do in the evening? There are only a few hours of sunshine to do stuff and then you have to go to sleep.

I also like to go to sleep by 10 and wake up at 6. No alarm needed. I just wake up at that time naturally.

That's magical and I envy you. I like to stay up until 12 and then wake up at 8. I guess we're the same, just two hours apart.

I see what you mean about the sunshine deal, but I get my sun on the weekends. Weeknights are for eating, reading, and taking hot baths.

I wouldn't mind working my current shift (7-3) if I didn't have to add 3 hours to it for the commute both ways. So my work day actually ends up being 5-4. But I agree, I'd rather work early and be finished early.

haha I work from 4:30-3:330 or so but work 4 days a week. three day weekends are awesome. Working 10 hours a day and starting at 4:30am each day..not so much
