Class of 2017!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Only 7 1/2 more weeks of block one! And then 9 more blocks. And then step 1. And then a year of working 80 hours a week (my school decided we need to work resident hours for all of year 3). And then some sub-i's, interviews, and graduation. With both parts of step 2 somewhere in there. We're basically almost done guys.

Hehe

Slow down there, Jethrow

😕

Six days til the first day of class!

We have a practical test on it sometime this block. And I'll probably be doing them when I volunteer at the free clinics.

3rd and 4th ribs, y u no make yourselves easy to palpate??

Soooo I'm in an osteopathic school.. We learned to palpate most landmarks in the body during week two. Lol. I've never touched so many people! But I'm a pro now!

Darn. My gains during the summer would have come in handy.. :meanie:

Apparently, It's actually a little harder to palpate bony structures in muscular patients... and on obese patients.

I'm supposed to find 10-15 people to practice on before Tuesday. Ha.

2 days of class so far and one post for me on SDN. Wonder if this ratio will continue through anatomy...

Finaid office, why you no answer phone calls?

Seriously, my charge for a parking permit went from 125-->250--->375 within three hours. I'm paying OOS tuition this year, Toledo--have mercy.

Not a day has gone by since paying my tuition that they haven't tacked something extra onto my account. It's annoying.

Buuuuut, huge party tonight so I don't care :horns::horns::horns:

Whoops, bought a guitar today...let's see how far I get with that. I'm hoping to use it to channel all of my procrastination needs into something other than facebook or SDN.

I am terrified to practice phlebotomy on my classmates and also to be practiced on :scared::scared::scared::scared::scared:

UTCOM folks: it looks like the parking permit is for one year ($375) because I just got mine and it doesn't expire till August 2014. That would make sense. Otherwise it's a highway robbery..

Ugh first week of school and I have to buy a new video card for my computer. Not cool.
