Meanwhile in Seattle...

I wish I could experience that. I have the "I watched football yesterday and just now realized how screwed I am for this test tomorrow" effect going on.Post test euphoria here. T-minus 30 minutes to self hatred.

After tomorrow's test, I also have a quiz I need to take which I haven't studied for.
The good news is that the Seahawks are in the Super Bowl!
The whole backlash about his comments was stupid. The guy just made a play that got them into the Super Bowl, then got pushed by the guy he taunted/congratulated. Of course he is going to not make sense and be focused on what just happened. If you interviewed any other player, you would have gotten the normal comments. But to go after the guy with adrenalin running through his veins and made the play of his career and then be shocked about what he said is stupid.I've wasted all day following all this crazy racist backlash against Richard Sherman.

I don't know how that wasn't considered a fumble. He caught it and took two full steps before getting drilled and dropping the ball on his way to the ground.Meanwhile in Seattle...

I'm definitely not a huge fan of the "guess I didn't have to study so hard for THAT test" feeling.I can't tell if I should have studied immuno less because that test seemed pretty easy. Does that mean I was just over prepared or what? However that meant cellular physiology and biochem were significantly more difficult.
Oh well. The test is done. Time to relax... not.
I'm now just about 2 weeks behind thanks to the flu. It's crazy how much worse falling 2 weeks behind is in med school than undergrad.
My personal favorite is the feeling of "I wish I hadn't studied so hard since my score is going to suck anyway. "I'm definitely not a huge fan of the "guess I didn't have to study so hard for THAT test" feeling.
I do like it more than the "whoops! Didn't study enough for that one!" feeling though.
Yes, I have had both experiences already...
What is... Horner's syndrome?![]()
I want to be Dr. W in the future.
At least -40 is no joking matter. I'm from northern Michigan and even I would call that cold.I had a microbiology-immunology quiz scheduled for tomorrow...until my university decided a -40 windchill tomorrow morning was too cold. Hello "Cold" Day.
"So brrrrr"http://www.dogeweather.com/
wow sky is clear, much climate change, very lovely
It's the little things that get me through the days.

Guys... I just discovered Bastille.
I was sitting in the medical student lounge, studying, when someone says that another wing has free food that they are trying to get rid of. I sprint down the hall, four flights of stairs and enter a room with a janitor vacuuming... No food is there. Sadly, I exit and go to walk away when I see another door open to a different room. I walk in and there is so much food! They begged me to take as much as I could carry. I left with three trays of sandwiches and another tray of brownies. Easily enough to feed another 20 people. Of course I am the only med student in the lounge, so I get to gorge myself on expensive sandwiches and brownies. The other medical students can eat the leftovers from my feast tomorrow.
Today was a good day.

MSK is easy.I really wish I didn't have a musculoskeletal test tomorrow. I really want a beer to go with this stomping of a game.
Go Seahawks!
Just wait for the real game. This is obviously a scrimmage between the Seahawks and an amateur team.I can't with this game. Like. What. Why. How.
